1. Bought a Stagg EDB from Lee - he was brilliant throughout the transaction. Couldn't ask things to have gone any better. Thanks so much.
2. Hello! Welcome Bass Lady from another of your kind in glorious sunny Swansea. Happy New Year everyone xxx
3. Well done - you must be chuffed! Will look forward to hearing more, great news.
4. November 10th is good for me. As before, if help needed send me a message and I'll do my best be useful. Have Highway one basses (Jazz and Precision) and Prosebass shortscale fretless to bring along plus Ashdown combo if that's needed. Deb
5. I have the T15 combo and love it. It arrived with the MAG 300 label still attached . The only reason I didn't buy a second hand amp was that I was kitting myself out with my bass and amp etc and didn't want to spend a reasonable amount of money and have no guarantee if the item was faulty. There was nothing left for repairs or amp replacement if it all went wrong! Happy shopping!
6. Will try and make your January gig in Cardiff - gallery page is taking ages to loads on my phone but a Gilmour lookalike is a huge incentive!
7. I'm watching too ... fantastic. ELO concert on next!
8. Cheers. Cardiff seems a good location for people travelling from all directions. It's not familiar territory to me so zero input from me on that front !!! Will have a look at the location tomorrow when I'm using my pc. Deb
9. November sounds good. When myself and Debs joined BC loads of members from Wales said Hi so might be worth a PM to guage interest / best date for most. Deb
10. Bought from String Busters last week, order placed at 5.45 pm - strings arrived at 8.30 the next morning. Excellent customer service, nice guy on the phone. Prices great, postage charge reasonable - I will definitely use them again and without a doubt will recommend.
11. Well - we are clearly going to need some advice on this. We all seem to understand the concept that an alehouse is a vital ingredient! Probably best if we have this further East than Swansea. I'm more than happy to go anywhere in the name of a day out. Same goes for you Debs?
12.
No doubt making huge profit somewhere!
Yeah ...of course. Bless him.
13.
Shut up, Wooks!
Was just thinking about the unforgettable thread where that comment appeared .... wonder what happened to that pleasant chap?
14. Day job all day, checked progress of my new flats that are going to replace the strings on my jazz ... they are on their way! Watched one of Scott's lessons and played a bit on the Jazz (complete with nasty roundwounds ) then loved a quick spin on my P with flats. Nothing special, just playing.
15. This is fantastic. Clarky - what a man. Toasting - thanks for sharing this with us, it's great to know you're enjoying easier times and that you had an unexpected way forward. I love this story.
16. Me too. Happy to help if I can.
17. Life is for living- enjoy playing whatever you want on whatever you want. If you're in a position to have this bass then why not? It's soooo good sometimes not to justify something, just say "YES". Good luck with your decision!
18. Yes, know a few of those. They are a bit younger than me but know Thor and Steve, went to school with Dorian's brother Carwyn. Carleton was a year older. The Sheaf ... has not changed at all! Still need Kofi Annan in there on carnival day!
19. Tumble ... Esgidiau'r Cwm :-). There's a similarly mysterious business in the Bont. Does anyone ever go in these establishments? You going to name and shame your mates?
20. Originally, but I've moved over the bridge to Yr Hendy ... there was an article in The Guardian when I committed this heinous crime ;-) I am still allowed to shop in the Co-op as my parents remain in the Bont!
21.
I hate to say I told you so... ...however...
You sure did sista :-)
22. Nice to have so many neighbours, I'm close to J48 of M4 so quite a few of us locally.
