Had a bit of a downsize! And gone down to the bare basics 😆 id still love a fuzz (you're Doom) and my tuner isnow in the tuner out on my Glockenklang. I think a Metro 20 is in order!

It's the same as mine! And mine has no routing under the plate (as per the original fenders)so yes you can use without a plate 😆 -

Nobody gets paid to play music they love Andy 😉 take the gig while Mrs Travis is on maternity! Whose the band? That list looks familiar (every wedding band in the country). I'd be quite happy to take a gig with a decent wedding band,especially as I lost all my gigs after moving to another part of the county 😕

[/quote] I completely agree! The classic vibe squires are fantastic for the money and those limelight copies get a lot of love. Even modern day japanese basses are fantastic (bacchus etc). I feel there are some far more interesting fender inspired basses coming out of Japan these days.

Very informative! Thanks again J back to the OP! Yes get a Japanese fender copy,they are great. Sadowsky metros are Japanese made and are silly money.
