  1. I've already read ovnilab's review, thanks. His opinion is only one of many. I've also watched youtube videos regarding The Empress Compressor. I was hoping to hear/read opinions of bass-players who may have used the pedal regularly, or even decided to sell it for something they thought was better.
  2. Hi, I just saw an Empress Compressor Pedal for sale on Ebay for £150. Has anybody here used one, and is it worth buying at that price? I do like clean compression, with metering, no noise, but with a little added "punch" The compressors in my Line 6 HX Effects are nice, but I'm looking for a little more in terms of metering and clarity. Any experience/advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers 😉
  3. I'll take the micro-fuzz tonight, if it's still available? Thanks.......
  4. The octavers in the HX Effects are real nice but, I still think I'll buy a analogue octaver for the "texture"....
  5. Cheers! I see Cog Effects T-65 has been re-listed on ebay today but, now I don't have the money to buy it, after just purchasing Line 6 HX EFFECTS!
  6. Thanks @Al Krow for this info - it's VERY useful! I'm curious if the "bleed" from the 'octave up' tone also happens on the Ver.2 of The T-65? Raw Ocatve tones usually need a little dirt 'up top' to cut through anyway, so I'm hoping it doesn't affect the "synthy-ness" I'm looking for... Thanks.....
  7. @lee650Thank you very much for the concise information! I took too long to decide, so I've missed the 'buy it now' price, and will have to bid - but I really don't want to pay more than £100 for this pedal! Cheers 😉
  8. Hi guys, I'm looking for some advice. I've just seen a Cog Effects T-65 Bass Octave for sale on Ebay UK for £100. These NEVER come up for sale, so I'm wondering if it's worth buying, or if there are better options I should consider? I'm really just looking for a thick octave sound (with no clean signal blended in) for a fat synthy sound. Does ANYBODY have any experience with this Cog T-65 pedal and can vouch for the pure octave sound tracking, and if it sounds decent in a live situation? I really can't test/demo the pedal as it is not widely available, and most youtube videos just seem to focus on The T-16 version (they always focus every demo on blended octave mixed with clean sounds). Any advice, please? Thanks... 😉
  9. Just bought one these, and with the drive knob at 10pm & Blend at 2pm, it's phenoomenal. Kills all boxyness, yet remains thick, full and clear. Completely smokes my Way Huge Pork Loin (which is now up for sale!).
  10. Hi, That's strange that you can't seem to message me. The pedal is still available......
  11. *Brand New, Pristine and Unused* MXR Bass Octave Deluxe. Was purchased brand new for £147 from an online store on the 9th November 2017, for a single project that was cancelled at the last minute! Pedal has not even been removed from the plastic bag it came in! (contains box, all documentation and warranty). Will be posted 1st Class recorded delivery for £107 I'm based in North London, so collection is also welcome.
  12. I'll take the micro thumpinator if it's still available?
