1. Thanks for the replies. The Line 6 Pods look like a good idea, will have to go and try em out. Anymore recommendations are welcome!
2. Hi, I'm on the verge of buying a bass with a PJ configuration, maybe the Duff signature or an aerodyne P or J bass and I would like an amp that can get as close to Duff's tone as possible, but I'm only a bedroom player, very occassionally jamming with a drummer at a rehearsal studio. I'd love a GK RB400 or similar but I guess this is maybe a bit too much for bedroom use as I'll have to really crank it to get the signature GK tone/growl out of it. Another option is something from the Microbass series. Or if there's anything else that can get a good Duff tone at low volume I'd appreciate your feedback. Regards, Sam
3. I'm also interested in the VM series. They have recieved nothing but good reviews. You can find the VM Jazz for alot cheaper than £249. 4. Thanks for the advice. I plan on getting a bigger rig in future but for now just want a small practice amp. Gonna make a trip to either GAK or The Bass Gallery and try some out. Thanks again, Sam
5. Looks pretty sweet. I'm after a mini amp and this look's ideal. Not available til April though. Check out the vid ftp://ftp.roland.co.uk/Videos/MicroCubeBass_RX/videos.html The Rythmn Trainer sounds like a beat from a Casio keyboard though haha.
6. Hi, first post here. I'm interested in playing bass again after years of just playing guitar and I'm looking at getting an ultra-small, portable amp that I can easily carry around and take places with me. I've read good reviews on the Peavey MicroBass II and would basically like to know which is the best "micro" amp out there? Anyone have or played the MicroMark? This looks sweet but seem's pretty expensive for such a small amp. Couldn't really go above this budget wise. I may wait and see what the Roland Bass Micro Cube RX is like when that comes out. The video review looks pretty good. Plus I have a Microcube for my guitar and love it! Your opinions would be really helpful to me and much appreciated! Sam
