1. A nice looking bass ! What about the sound , something to compare with ?
 2.
BUT before everyone wants to stab me for spamming, please hear me out! Mythste enjoyed my video and said I should post here. He sent me! So about the contest: It's run by Sandberg Guitars. They're giving away a one-of-a-kind bass - the first prototype of the MarloweDK signature bass. It sounds astonishingly nice. I need it in my life. Ahaha. The criteria was/is as follows: 2-3 minutes of original music, played live. I submitted a shortened version of my song 'Hammerhead' from my upcoming EP! [Click here to go watch it!] I'm in 2nd place at the moment, which of course is marvelous, but I really want to win! :] If you like my video/song and you want to vote for me, all you need to do is click the thumbs up button on the YouTube page. I really really appreciate it. OH! One final thing. I had this planned before the contest.. but I figured it'd probably be a good idea to say this now. If I win the contest, I'm going to release my EP for free (digitally) when it's finished. I was going to release it afterwards as a surprise thankyou! But yeah, maybe it's a good idea to say now. As an incentive to vote for me or whatever. I hope you don't hate me for posting this. I just want to win so badly! And Mythste told me to post here. Thanks for your time, have a good'un. Whatever you're doing and whether you vote for me or not. :] -Nick
We DON'T hate you Nick , thumbs comi'n
 3. I want Sadowsky so much ! In Norway , you have to sell your house , car(s) , wife , kids and your pets to afford one
 4.

Is that your rig ?
 5. Eden have some good combos. Ashdown as well.
 6.
Because this is not Talkbass and we don't judge people for their choices. Have a nice day.
Well spoken mate !
 7.
My Custom Precision Has Landed! There are various features that I like about Precision basses spanning the 50s, 60s and 70s. What if it were possible to bring them together in one bass? I like the 50s vibe, but I like the comfort of contours. I like the 50s-type pickguard shape and also the 60s-type 3-ply guards. A 51-type single coil pick-up is fine, but the 57-type split pick-up is more versatile... and a 70s-type 'F' stamped neck plate would bring to mind my beloved USA Fender 76 Precision... So I approached our own Howard Satterley (The Bass Doc) with a very dodgy Photoshop mock-up of what I wanted... this was the brief: Body: Alder in vintage white. 57-type contours and radiussing, with routing for 51-type control plate. 62-type 3-ply pickguard in mint/black/mint, cut to 51-type shape. Neck: Allparts Fender-licensed one-piece maple neck with skunk stripe, truss rod adjustment at heel. 51-type headstock shape. Fender 'spaghetti' decal under clear coat. Vintage tint. 70s-type radius. Synthetic bone nut. Black dots. Hardware: Fender strap buttons. Side-mounted jack socket in cat's-eye plate. 57-type bridge with threaded barrels. 51-type control plate with chrome dome knobs. 70s-type 'F'-stamped neck plate on black cushion. Kluson reverse vintage tuners. La Bella Deep Talkin' 760FL strings. Electrics: Seymour Duncan Vintage SPB-1 split pickup. CTS solid shaft pots. Ceramic disc 0.05uF cap. Am I a happy bunny? I played the bass at rehearsal last night. Now I know what 'plays like butter' means. The set-up is perfect, the action low and there is no fret buzz whatsoever from any string at any fret position. It sounds great, very warm and present...a bit like a Precision Bass, in fact. So yes, I'm a very happy bunny indeed! My Precision Bass GAS is finally over! Many thanks and heartfelt gratitude to Howard for his skill, endless patience and excellent communications. And thanks for all the bubble wrap, mate! Edited for extra pics, as requested!
My God ! What a beauty mate !!!
 8.
I'd say so!
9.
They just seem 'too good to be true' for the price. I played thru a Marshall mb 4x10 (same speakers I presume) last year and was not impressed at all. But that's personal opinion I guess. For an extra 100 or so could get a second hand ashdown abm 8x10, lovely cabs
You're damned right ! Ashdown ABM is the way to go. Amazing cab. Fat low end with crisp high and "cut trough mix" middle !
 10.
Having spotted a few for sale recently i was curious to know if anyone had tried them. They don't seem to stay with their owners for very long. Any reason for sudden changes of heart and selling on quickly. I was thinking of buying one. Cheaper option than an Ampeg for example. Dave
I have two Ampeg 8x10 , so I don't need anything else. About Marshall 8x10 : Some years ago , a friend of my brother use to play one big Marshall basscab , but he sold it , complaining about a boomy sound with no details . Impossible to cut trough the mix. But my brother said this was a very cheap Marshallcab from a "lowpriced" series. They have far more expensive 8x10 cabs with a thunderous sound , if Marshall is the thing you want. Good luck mate
 11.
Thanks everyone for your help, don't really know of any big music stores around my area so probably won't be able to test so I'll end up buying and hoping! I'm sure all will be fine as it seems like everyone rates them fairly highly! We will see! Thanks again Jack
One more thing : I dont use the biamp option at all. I just plug in my Aguilar DB 112 and my Ashdown 115 , both in 8 ohm , and I'm been rewarded with sound from heaven. The the biamp system was ,in the first place, ment to be for GK's own RBH and NEO series of cabinets. But again: You dont need the biamp system at all. Just plug and play mate., but be aware of the impedance. Use two 8 ohm cabs or one 4 ohm cab., to take full advantage of the amp. This amp has a minimum impedance set at 4 ohm. Again: Good luck mate
 12.
I'm so confused! Why does the website say 480+50 watts :s
Remember ! You need a special wired speakoncable for the biamp options. If you want to take advantage of the biamped horn.
