    MTD KZ5 5 String Bass Guitar - Delano Pre-amp Upgrade - Excellent Condition 9/10 These are known for being amongst some of the most underrated basses you will find in this price bracket, if you have played one you know. Lovely design and finish, the build quality is excellent too. tight low B string. Mahogany body gives great resonance and sustain. The pre-amp has been upgraded to a Delano Sonar 3 MS-E purchased at Bass Direct and installed by their recommended tech/luthier. From memory I think this cost around £250, giving enhanced versatility with 3 way selectable mid-frequency adjustment. Push/pull passive/active volume knob. This is really useful in a live scenario with no cut in volume. Original preamp will also be supplied. The bass was purchased by me from new at Bass Direct, and has been well looked after and cared for, mainly been used for light gigging. It does have some minor scuffs and a couple of tiny dings (see photos) but overall in excellent condition. Only selling as I feel more at home with 4 strings.     Brian sold me a lovely P-bass about a month ago. I’ve Been meaning to leave feedback for a while now but a recent house move turned my life to chaos for a short while! I Can confirm all the nice things others have said. Brian is an absolute pleasure to deal with and went to extra lengths to put my mind at ease with shipping and payment. I Couldn’t recommend more!

    Just fitted on of Johns wiring looms in my CIJ fender precision. Amazed by the difference it’s made! noticeably thicker, rounder tone. Simple to fit and John was mega helpful, couldn’t recommend more!

    hi guys, thanks for the welcome Leen, i suspect your right, GAS seems innevitable, if only i knew what i was looking for! Bert, i'd love to sell you my bass for £39... maybe one day i'll pass it on to some aspiring young bassist who is equally as broke and clueless as i was when i started, but for now it's staying, atleast untill i find it's successor!

    hi all I’ve spent hours browsing these forums, but never actually left a post so thought it about time I said hi and introduce myself. I live in Redditch just south of Birmingham and I’ve been playing bass for around 13 years now. I’ve gigged on and off playing covers and original material, anything from punk to Motown. When I first started playing I was lucky enough to pick up a beat up 80s MIJ P-bass for £40 which is still the only bass i own (despite being on the hunt for a new bass for the past year!). I recently upgraded from an Ashdown ABM 15’ combo to an EBS Reidmar with 12’ focus cab (based on threads and reviews on here) and it’s made such a huge improvement to the clarity and definition. I also play a bit a bit of guitar. Thanks for reading Russ

    Are you still lookin for an ashdown ABM 1x15? I'm not looking for a swop but i have an Ashdown ABM evo ii 300 1x15 combowhich i'm about to put up for sale on Ebay. It's in good condition, it's one of the earlier UK built models without the white trim, and it comes with two double foot pedals for swithing octave, drive, eq, mid-scoop etc.I have owned from new and ive never had any problems with it....
