1. Sorry wasn't very clear was it, no it's the original body that was refinished at some point
you say all original apart from the body - sorry just me being dumb - can you clarify?? have the original parts been fitted to another body if you see what I mean?? or did you ust mean not original cos it's had a refin?
2. If anybody wants me to find out about shipping I will, I've got a Parcelforce depot near my work and I'll get it boxed up. I was just a bit worried about the amp but thats what the flight case is for I suppose!! lol Anyway if anybody wants me to find out the costs give me a shout.
 3. Time for a bump
Up for sale is my ABM EVO II 500. Its the chrome face version and comes rack mounted in a 4u flight case which has wheels and a pulling handle if you so wish to use it that way. I've also included a cool blue neon light which sits above the amp itself. The amp has only seen light use taken out to a maximum of 10 gigs. The case has some battle scars but more scuffs that any damage as such I would prefer local pick up but I will check out p&p if required, I just worry about sending amps out through our postal service. For technical info I've included the link below http://www.ashdownmusic.com/tech/manuals/ABMEVOIIManual.pdf I live in Tonbridge, Kent and anybody who want to come and have a look feel free, likewise any questions please ask. I'm looking for £350 but am open to offers, although I need cash as I've got to fund the replacement. If anyones wondering why I'm selling its purely because I need to go lighter, that's the trouble with age and a bad back lol. 4. Firstly I don't profess to be an expert in vintage instruments but everything I include in this post I believe to be true and honest, christ that sounds like some sort if disclaimer but I'm conscious of not being misleading in any way. Ok here we go, up for sale is my 1973 Fender Jazz, I brought it a couple of years ago and I love it but my standard of playing and the type of gigs I do don't do it justice and I need the funds to finance a new amp. When I brought the bass it was on the understanding that it was all original apart from the body which was refinished at some point. I have since then had no reason to disbelieve that the bass is not 100% original. I'm not sure if the photos do it justice but as you can see the the neck is maple with black binding around the edges and black block inlays. The neck is super smooth and a real pleasure to play. The serial number is 408612 which corresponds to 1973 according to the Fender site. I appreciate there may be plenty of questions and I'll do my best to answer. When i brought the bass it did not come with the bridge or pup cover. Now to the price I am open to offers but its got to be close to the £1400 and if I get that I'll include the hard case in the pics. I prefer the bass to be picked up as I wouldn't feel happy sending this through the post although I'm also happy to travel and meet up for the cost of a llittle diesel. Like wise if anybody wants to come and have a look or try out just let me know. I also have the original owners manual. 6. Two pedals to go both Ashdown. The first is the Lomenzo Bass Hyper Drive and the Second is the Dual band Compression. Both are in very good condition having only seen light use. I'm looking for £35 each which includes p&p. Any questions ask away. Please ignore the little labels I added those as a reminder for myself and will be removed. Both pedals come with their originals boxes
 7. Shure PG4 & PG1 Wireless for Guitar and Bass Here I have for sale a kit comprising of a Shure PG4 wireless receiver, PG1 bodypack transmitter, WA302 instrument lead and PS20 UK power supply. The frequency range as on the back of the receiver is 854-865 MHz I'm looking for £110 + p&p which I think is a fair price when you look at the new price or I may be open to a swap of some find if it's something that interests me If you have any questions please feel free to contact me Please check out the Shure website below to check on specifications. 11. Fair comment, is there anything specific I need to find out? it's just that I don't get involved with the PA so would have to find out
 12. Hi guys, Looking for a bit of help and guidance here on the use of a DI box. I've read some of the other postings but would to clarify a few points. We've a few gigs coming up where the floor space shall we say is a little 'cramped' so rather than take my rig along would it be feasible for me to go through our PA via a DI box? If it is are there any pros and cons? can I use it with my effects? and lastly are there any recommendations on which box to buy? Over to you
