2.
I'm afraid so - sorry!
No worries, just asked on the off chance as I am in Leeds too. Stupidly, as I was browsing this site I saw the post again at the top of For Sale and thought it was a new post, then realised it was my bump that moved the original post up ! hahaha Cheers Andy
 3.
First set about 50/55 mins Second an hour or so plus 2 or 3 encores Definitely agree with having a break for pee, drink, regroup on set etc and to socialise with friends etc
Hey Tony, think we both use ROTN as a local band site? I play with the Cardinals! Small world eh? Andy
 4.
Sold pending the usual!
Did this go mate? ta Andy
 5. Do any of you play in a pub band? if so how long do you usually play for? We typically do a 9-10 first set followed by a 10.15 - 12+ second set. Number of encores depends on reaction but is always 1/2 at the least I suspect we are playing a bit longer than we need to but it's hard to get an honest view from landlords (since they want you on as long as possible) and of course the public want you on all night once they've had a few. Just interested to know what other bands do? Thanks Andy

 7. Hiya, am selling my mint 450w Ampeg tranny head. I bought it new and it has been cased since then. I still have receipts and tags. It has hardly been used in the last 3 years as I bought a tiny car so have been using a small B200R combo instead. It has been sitting in my room gathering dust, I have already moved on the 4x10 and 8x10 cabs so now it's time to go. The cheapest I can see new is £525. The case was bought for £140 from Gothards so I am after a firm £400 for a quick sale. Check the Ampeg site for full details but it truly is in mint condition and a proper bargain. Cheers Andy
 8. I took the plunge in December and bought the OBT and the SP212 cab. I couldn't be more pleased. It is almost plug and play, the sound is that good but you can of course tweak it to taste if you like. Can't wait to crank it up again on Saturday.
 9. Lovely pics of my mint SVT450H
 10.
still available
OK, will have it then. How do you want to be paid mate? Thanks Andy
 11.
Just git this this week, its brand new - only took it out the box to put my basses in!, just decided its not for me (and with an impending sale of one or possibly two of my basses its gonna be surplus soon!) its a great piece of kit very well padded and the basses fit in lovly, lots of pockets for storage etc. Its identical to this: http://www.soundunlimited.co.uk/product_31...050-DEB/BK.html £45 posted
Did you maage to sell this buddy? Interested if you still have it Andy
 12. So I used the new Orange rig on Saturday night in a large concert room. I was really impressed with the performance of the Bass Terror. There is tons of headroon, I played at less than half the available volume. The sound is sweet and there was no buzz or rattles even when at volume. Even my Rickenbacker which is notoriously buzzy at times was kept quiet. As for being small and compact, absolutely. Shame I then had to help shift the rest of the bands gear too though. I am a happy camper! Andy
 13.
BUMP!
Hiya, got a pale blue USA P Bass. Is rosewood neck, 2002 (I think) currently has a chequered scratchplate but I also have the original in white and is in a Fender OHSC. Plays great. Any interest? can send pics of course Andy
 14.
You could say that Tim. Comes from playing through under-powered combos for years - I`ve just developed a knack of hitting the strings way too hard, but I explain it away as saying that`s whats needed in a punk band
Hiya mate, dunno if you're interested but I sold a DBS7400 about 3 years ago and its still showing as available on the website I advertised it on (tried to get em to remove it many times to no avail) but as a result I often get mails from prospective buyers. If you wish I can send em to you? Might help you get rid? No worries if not but might help Andy
 15.
Cheers Dannybuoy. Good advice on size/bottom/sensitivity. Bassmonkey: louder than a B200R? Okay, maybe not too difficult a task... but if it really is, then I have to try one. Cheers! Mmmm. Citrus fruit.
I love the B200R but have been seduced by the size of the Orange. I will let you know after Saturday once I get chance to crank the Terror up a bit. I would say though that the Terror is easier for me to get a great sound from in my opinion.
 16.
Ooh, I love it. Bassmonkey... how loud are these really? I've got the use of a Trace AH150 head and Trace 2x10 ported cab. It's punchy over a pretty enthusiastic drummer but the sound is... well, Trace. Can these little stacked 2x12 cabs compete?
Trust me, they are very, very loud. Have only tried in th shop and at hoem though, it debuts on Sarurday night. I am hoping not to be disappointed....will letya know if I am
 17. The sound is bloomin awesome plus it is light a a feather. No more back breaking lifts for me. Go on - treat yourself!
 18.
thats a lovely Les Paul, wish Gibson made their basses that pretty. Im really considering the orange head with 210. I dont overly enjoy the prospect of luggin the ampeg gear around at gig time!!!!!
Yeah the LP is an old 70s Antoria. I completely renovated it recently with new hardware and EMGs. Agree, dunno why Gibson don't make them that pretty. 2x12 a it's the new 8x10 !!!
 19.
I also acquired mine recently with the 15% discount code at soundslive. I took it to rehearsal last night & blew my bandmates away. It descended into Orange-y jokes ("It's too orangey for crows" - a comment presumably lost on anyone under 25?) but the thing ruled. I too am toying with the idea of selling my bigger cabs but I'd still like a big Orange cab for the bigger shows. Oh & mine is the SP210 as opposed to the SP212. Enjoy
Ha - my band members are just shaking theit heads in a "I knew he wouldn't be able to resist" kind of way. Just shortened the 30FT Speakon and it all works. I went for the 2x12 purely cos I have a 19" 1U case with tuner and transceiver in it that has to fit on top of the cab and 2x10 was a bit narrower. It may have to go underneath the lot yet. Here's a couple of pics. Yes, I know I am a bit over excited !! Happy New Year all Andy
 20. Been gassing for this for a while. Sold some no longer needed Ampeg gear and went to "try" the Bass Terror.................next thing - loading that and the SP212 cab in to the car. 15% off and pre VAT increase - was a no brainer. Blimey it is lovely. Loud as can be, tiny and relatively simple sound variant options which suits me perfectly. It still amazes me though that when you buy nearly a grands worth of kit, the retailers still dont automatically include a cable. The guy who sold me it was great though, when I questioned it - he agreed to let me have the one I'd used in demo (even though it's a 30 footer!) Out with the soldering iron this aft then to shorten it. I have gone from the ridiculous to the sublime over the last 3 years. Was Ampeg 8x10 and SVT 450 back breakers to Orange 2x12 which can easily be carried in one hand. Must be getting old. Watch out for flightcased Ampeg SVT 450H and Ampeg B200R both owned from new by me with receipts and cases up for sale shortly Andy
 21.
Hi All! Just a bit of information about the Delirium fancy dress gig at the Brewery Tap in Idle on New Year's Eve. Tickets are now on sale behind the bar in the Tap. AFAIK it's an all ticket do but there may be some available on the night if there are any unsold tickets. The night will feature a slot where a couple of local singers/musicians will get up and play a few numbers with us whilst we have a temporary reshuffle. These songs will not be from our usual repertoire, so should be a bit of fun for us and the audience. Either side of this we'll be playing 2 extended sets, so it should be a great night of music for all! Thanks to Spike and the crew at the Brewery Tap for their continued support of Delirium. Jon
Hope it goes well Jon. Good luck mate and pass on my regards to Spike Cheers Andy
