Only asking because I have stuff I'm selling and didn't want to scupper your sales as you were up first.
Very kind of you sir, the whole thing is sold pending payment which is only a matter of time.

 4.
Oohh I like that!! Is the P pickup in the right place to get the "sound" 😆
It does a convincing P impression if that's what you're asking!

I purchased it new in 2006. Serial number suggests it is an 05 or 06 (Sxxxxxx). Comes with some custom Wizard Pickups, by the great Andy Blake. The P pickup is a Thumper and the J is a custom one to match the heft of the P. The original pickups come with it too. In excellent, used condition. Pickguard has surface scratches but the red finish is still striking. Hardly any fret wear. Neck has a lovely satin finish making it very comfortable and a delight to play. There is one ding in the body, as shown in the last picture. Comes with a tweed hard case. Please get in touch if you are interested. I would prefer collection so that you can try it out first, but can make other arrangements to suit you. I will be away for the whole month of February but am available before and after if you would like to get in touch. I am based in Surrey, UK, very close to Junction 9 of the M25. 10.
freakin awesome,,,,,lovely bass dude. I love mine as it is, I would imagine this is a monster with the new pups,,,,plus the candy red is wild....
Thanks, it is a lovely bass. The red pops a lot more in the flesh. Kills me to sell it but needs must unfortunately.
 11. Up for sale a crafted in Japan non-export candy apple red aerodyne jazz (model with pick guard). Reluctant sale, but non-paying customer forces me to do so. Bought in 2006, comes with a tweed hard case (rockcase). Fitted with custom wizard pickups, bridge single coil overwound to match the grunt of the mid "P" pickup. Strung with brand new DR sunbeams 45 - 105. Has some signs of light wear and a small ding on the rear on the bottom edge. Will provide detailed pictures of that if any genuine interest displayed. Here's an initial picture, I will take better ones if interest is shown. £500 Also to add, I would much much prefer collection, that way you can come, try the bass and when completely happy hand over the cash and take it home with you.
 12.
Wizard pick ups do a PJ combo (two types of pj combo), not tried it myself but their stuff always seems to get rave reviews , as does their custumer service.
I got wizard to make a custom set for my aerodyne, think the p was a thumper and then an overwound j. So much better than the weedy original pups.
 13. I had the same thing with an Ashdown Superfly, another class D. Squealing that didn't alter with location, volume, power etc. Just very irritating practising at home. The power board was replaced, still the same. I was about ready to smash the thing to bits it was annoying me that much so I part ex'ed it for a different amp.
 14. Congratulations, what a gorgeous bass. It may be a shame you will have to sell your other basses as a result, but you probably would have neglected them in favour of this beauty anyway.
 15. Another advocate of the Korg Pitchblack. Rugged, compact, accurate and supremely legible.
 16.
Most furniture shops sell you stuff that hasn't even been MADE yet so you can't really criticise music retailers for engaging in what is effectively normal practice in the retail sector
I totally understand that, but in my case I wasn't ordering a made to measure item and it was indicated as available on the website, slightly different thing imho.
 17.
I think you'll find this doesn't just apply to online music shops.....
Well you see that's the funny thing, the other online retailers I regularly use only ever take my money when they are just about to ship my order and not before. It seems to me to be the logical, honest thing to do. But enough of my ranting! I will wait and see if my order arrives by this Friday as I was promised over the phone...
 18.
Personally I think that taking money for something that is out of stock is unethical
I wholeheartedly agree, totally unethical. But apparently normal for online music retailers then. I talked about this practise with Alex at the Gallery once, he said something about robbing Peter to pay Paul, I hope this isn't the case this time...
 19. I ordered a guitar stand online last week, and as with all online purchases, I checked with my bank to see whether my account had been debited or not. Since it had been debited, I assumed the item had been dispatched. However, having rung the shop, I found out the item hadn't even reached their distributor yet! Is it normal for an onlne retailer to take your money for an Item they show as available when they don't even have it in stock yet!? Any other internet retailer I have had dealings with will only debit my account when they have the item in their hands and ready to be sent out. This makes sense surely. I don't want to "name and shame" as I've phoned them up and am willing to give them a chance, but I will be furious if It doesn't arrive before the end of the week!
 20. I was actually listening to them as I spotted this topic! Very tasteful basslines. I love the tone in "crooked teeth"
