Besides - Warwick owners insist their basses are so good I'm surprised they'd need upgrades
Maybe some scented rubbing waxes though....

There's some video clips of the palatino(sp?) on youtube. I don't like the tone very much, tbh. The Stagg clips on here sound more promising.

I like it. It's attractive whilst retaining character.
Nice one. -

I preferred the tone of my friend's Shine Hofner copy to Herbie Flowers' jazz.

Ta for your input, but I don't think it's this. How did you come up with it, out of interest? -
Is this 'MM' meaning Musicman or 'MM' meaning Marcus Miller? Either way they're both stunning basses.
-
That MM is still awesome.

Thanks for your efforts.
I doubt the accuracy of the lyrics.
I didn't say it would be easy -
A friend has asked about a funk song. I figured one of you helpful, knowledgeable lot would unearth this great enigma:
There was this funk song from the late 70s or early 80s that I liked a lot and now I want to download it but cannot find the title by searching for the lyrics.
The words went like this:
Ready, ready, yes I am , ready ready
and then something about
They taught us to dance in outer space,
calling, calling, I am calling down to you and are you ready
ready ready, yes I am ready...
-
Howdy, Mark. Welcome along!
Can you play Klezmer?
(How awesome is Kezmer, right!?) -
Soulfinger's wee Fender is one of my favourite basses on Basschat.
I don't think I'm wholly comfortable with short scale, but I'd like to try one of those. My little hands should look less rediculous, too. -
Welcome to BC. Better late than never.

Welcome dr.J. Blues and metal. Eclectic. Cool.
SO does anyone want to sell me a Fender 62 Precision Jamerson-alike for, say, £300?
Not if you're using a pic. -
