You posted a link to something.... Normally people post links to entries in the challenge. It was a quip. Once scrutinised under the lamp of bad taste and the hue of shamelessness has been cast, it would appear that the humour is somewhat..... Lost. Forgive me. Let's move on.

Wow, I have just been reading about a German tourist who fell and died there last Wednesday.

I'm no expert, but I'd say it's a nice job on the relic (a lot of work has obviously gone into it), although I do think the BIN is high.

The 'make offer' button is available though, if I wanted it I'd be starting offerings at about £300 for it.

£300 for a banjaxed Squier. Are you a millionaire???? It's worth about £60 imo.

Still not well, so a bit laboured this month, and it shows. Here's mine, however; a bit shorter than sometimes (shouts of "No bad thing..!" from the more rowdy amongst you, of course..!). I give you ...

Enjoy. :)

Clever take.

A P body but with Jazz pick ups in it, with a Jazz neck that is the same size as a P neck, but it says Jazz on it, with flatwound strings from a Jazz, but used on a P, and with Jazz tuning heads for the E and A strings, but Precision heads for the D and G strings, with a BBOT bridge from a P that was put on a Jazz, but then swapped out for something fancy and put back on the P.

I like to keep it simple.

Sounds a bit like my current bass.

6. If I get time this month, and I hope I do..... I will keep it very stripped back and basic. Maybe bass, drums and vocals. The song is floating around in my head already and is pretty much there. I've got a nice simple bassline and chorus with an uncluttered arrangement. The picture immediately struck me with an idea which I hope I can deliver. I've listened to some of the entries so far. I like them all. There really are some clever people here.

^ Either of the above suggestions are great :)

If you want something even more pocket-size, have a look at:

Rocksmith Real Tone Cable - it's intended for use with the Rocksmith video game, but it's basically a USB guitar lead that you can use to record into Audacity or pretty much any DAW software (USB on one end, standard 1/4" jack plug on the other). The quality isn't fantastic, but it's certainly 'good enough'. You can pick one up for £20 or so if you shop around.

Amplitube mobile App plus an iRig adaptor. You plug the adaptor into your phone's headphone socket; plug your headphones and 1/4" jack lead into the adaptor; launch the App you have you a mini amp sim and recording/mixing package in your pocket! Again, the sound quality won't win any awards but it's far from shabby. The adaptor costs less than a fiver and I think the App is around £10 last time I checked.

Wow... Awesome advice.... I've been schooled. You learned me. Both of those sound awesome. I will check them out as I'm looking for something exactly like this.

Seriously ?

A minor facetiousism I think. More earnestly though I must speak up for poor old Sally. It is indeed a fine song. The fact that it has been raped and bastardised by every dog and his trom-bone is not the fault of the song itself and I urge you to relisten or if you haven't heard it before then listen for the first time to the Wilson Pickett version. It is utterly sublime, a performance and arrangement that is second to very few. Give it a listen. It's on YouTube. If you don't like it I'll give you your money back.

Tbh I hate talkbass. Unlike here most of there members are not the most friendly of people. And if you make a mistake you will be jumped on.

Completely the opposite to here.
