So it may well have been THE owner. Seemed a nice chap, but having a pop at my gear then handing me a business card is not my idea of getting a player on board. Hey ho. Sure the BF gear is great etc

Jaco only needed.........hahahahaha
Looks a beast of a bass. I like it when Dug P plays his 12 string basses - adds such a depth.

Winner - looks great

I've had a bunch of Laney gear over the years and it NEVER let me down. Only just sold a Laney 150 watt combo that was bullet proof and plenty loud enough.

One of the owners of Barefaced approached me at a new years eve gig a few years ago, bitched about my existing gear and gave me his business card. Worst marketing ever.
I know this has nothing to do with the cabs, but i've said it now.
As you were.

Hi all. I’ve just put together this little home rig and I’m super pleased. I purchased the empty Ampeg mini stack cab first, then picked up two old Trace Elliot speakers on EBay that used to live in a 1048 TE cab. Finally I took the plunge and purchased the Hotone Thunder Bass head. The whole thing sounds amazing with my P basses and the tone is superb and would make a great recording set up too. Super pleased with this rig and the head has a surprising array of tones.
Cheers all

Ooooh thats lovely

I've never been there. Just saying.

I bought a P at the weekend. I, like a lot of people, have been round the houses when it comes to basses, but you just can't beat the raw simplicity of a P.

Nope, it’s not for me, but if Joe likes it, then that’s all good.

I have very fond memories of mine, a red active 1a. Heavy and a little neck heavy, but great fun and a good gigging tone too.

Still available??

I so want this, but my kidney hasn't sold yet!

My Squier CV Jazz has been my go to gigging bass for round 10 years. Great build quality and never let me down.
Great pieces of kit.
Cheers
