1. Hi, Recently got the ampkit and downloaded the free version of amplitube and so far I have been really impressed, the ability to import then change tempo, built in tuner and mertronome etc. Awesome! What I am trying to work out is how to change amps and input from lead to bass? Help!? Tony
 2. Hi, I currently have a Korg Pitchblack, i love it, the screen is clear and it has been reliable throughout. There are plenty of good reviews coming from the Polytune, what I wanted to know is how it copes or how do you set ip up to deal with alternate tunings? In my case one band I play with tune to d♯. This is a pretty straight forward process with the pitchblack, hit the string and voila! I just don't see how the strum all strings at once feature would work on alternate tunings, is there a specific set-up for de-tuning? Please enlighten me and give me your honest opinions/reviews. Thanks Tony
 3. I've been using coated elixirs for the last two years and I love them. They just never die. To be honest I have thinking about trying some of the DR's as I've heard so many good reviews. Now I may stick with the tried and tested.
 4. EBS Bass IQ for sale. New version with true bypass. Mint condition - £100 postage £4
 5.
I've been a Unichorus user for a while.. in fact its the only pedal I own 2 of! Lovely lush sound. Has a natural 'top end' as well as the low end retention you'd expect. Flanger sounds fantastic as well. The only flanger I've used that I preferred was the old brown Boss BF-2B (which was lovely) - But this comes a close second, paired with a top class Chorus tone. EBS Unichorus = WIN!
Two? That's just pure gluttony!! Ha ha must be good!
 6. Hi, I am looking for a chorus pedal, these two seem to be quite popular. The EBS is a flanger also which is kinda swinging me in that direction, and i own a number of ebs pedals already so know the quality. Any thoughts peeps? Alternatives? anything to offer? Cheers Tony
 7. Well, I spotted a nice bargain in ikea. A black gloss kitchen door in the clearance section for a £1! As I only had 4 pedals it was perfect. Cut 1 1/"2 one side and stuck it to one end so it raised the board at an angle with "no more nails". It's compact and looks great in my opinion! For the power supply I use a spot on power adaptor, which has been brilliant. Drilled one hole for each pedal so daisy chain could be fed through from underneath. Regards to tuners the korg pitch black is solid with a nice display but would cost nearer to £45

http://www.studybass.com/tools/bass-clef-notes/ As for score, the spaces between the lines from bottom to top is ACE G (that's me that is ). After that, it's practice.
I'm in no position to advise on this as I have the same issue. However, as regards to the notes on the stave, my old tutor gave me some phrases to remember the notes. GBDFA = Good birds don't fly away ACEG = All cows eat grass
 9.
Bosh! And it's gone to a nice new home! Cheers Tony, nice to meet you mate
Cheers pal, looking forward to getting it hooked up. Thanks again.

 12.
I've got a Sansamp Programmable DBBI that I'm getting increasingly fed up with. I'm beginning to dislike the mid scoop. I'm looking at alternatives at the moment, I've narrowed it down to: MXR M80 DHA VT2 but also looking into: Radial Bassbone EBS MicroBass II
Could be interested if you decide to sell.
 13.
Ive got a Korg Pitchblack which is pretty nifty, you can change the display to look like the red light bit on the front of KIT from knight rider which is really useless and actually quite hard to read but it looks pretty cool. I tend to just keep it on the default setting though which is really easy to read.
Agree, robust and functional, best tuner pedal I've owned.
 14.
I like one trip from the van to venue, the bag i bought holds a Gramma and my similar sized pedalboard meaning i have a two free hands to carry a flightcase and my cab. Although my dad now uses that bag to actually transport his fishing chair so i'll have to buy another when i start gigging again!
That's a cracking idea, me being a fisherman too!! I think I may have a carryall lying around. I was hoping to find something that would carry a pedal board and micro amp in one journey. Fantastic, might even be able to get something with two separate compartments. Cheers
 15.
Thanks guys. A purchase is imminent!
Any thoughts on the gramma bag? Has anyone found a cheaper alternative? Although I haven't seem one in the flesh it looks like a bog standard nylon bag for £38!
 16. Thanks guys. A purchase is imminent!
 17. Hi, I've been contemplating getting one of these to control unwanted boom on hollow stages. Having read a couple of posts on here I am getting concerned that because I am only using one small cab a bergantino AE112 I wil lose a lot of umph and wanted bass coupling. Any thoughts I was convinced up until reading this as there are hundreds of good reviews. Any thoughts?
 18.
Great pedal but eventually I found out I'm not an effects person and I never use it. It's just over 2 year old and I'm the second owner, it works perfectly and is in great condition. Sold with original box and manual. (I also have a pitchfactor I'm considering selling as well). Yours for £250 including mainland UK shipping.
Wanted one of these for ages. They look and sound the business. Unfortunately the piggy bank is looking empty at the mo. Unless you wanted to swap some bits plus cash from a choice of: Ebs octabass, ebs bass iq, ebs multicomp?
 19.
Price drop Bump!
Price drop bump? Does that mean it's been reduced? 
 20.
My sansamp programmable sounds a little thin to me, although it is the programmable bass DI rather than the VT...
Thin! Really? That's surprises me. I thought either the progammable or vt deluxe would be thick as. Wish there were some decent bass suppliers in Lancashire so I could have a good sniff!
 21.
The advantage of the shuttle over the streamliner as I see it is you can add a sansamp or other toys to get great sounds yet have a clear modern sound too where from the clips i have seen the streamliner never runs as clean as a shuttle, You still have a degree of valve drive in a shuttle if you are caught short even if it's not going to keep the Ampeg fans happy.
I know what you're saying, and I do like the openness of the shuttle. Perhaps I need to see if I could live with complete tube in my life. May get a sansamp programmable in the short term to see if this will give the best of both worlds. ;-)
 22. Hi folks, I currently have the Gb shuttle 6.0 which is a great little amp. Recently I have had my head turned with the streamliner and it's all it's great reviews, the added warmth and thickness sounds lush. Should I do it or should I stick to the shuttle and get a vt bass deluxe with the flexibility of programmer sounds? Or buy both for pure greed and excess!!???
