Weekend bump for a classic (220 watt) Ampeg combo 

Hi BC’ers,

I was lucky to pick up a s/h Super Vintage in 

mint condition yesterday and had a little play around with it today. Seems like a great pedal and built like a tank too. 
I just wondered what your thoughts were and if you have an tips/settings, pedal chain placement, etc  you’d recommend to get the best out of it.

Maybe do a T-shirt with a free cd as you really want people to be walking around advertising your band as much as possible to other potential fans.

I would also consider getting an SC too. You can always pick up a second for bigger gigs if/when you do them. The SC is brilliant for bedroom, rehearsals and small to mid gigs. 
Great modular set up. 
I had it but simplified it to the ST. 

Bank Holiday Bump

Counter point to the argument:

I’ve done a lot of auditions in the past and usually take it very seriously with my preparation. 
However, there has been loads of times I’ve turned up to audition and I’ve been the most competent and knowledgable musician in the room by a mile. It can be quite disheartening to put over a weeks worth of practicing in to find out the band just aren’t very good. 
Thankfully I’m in a great band and have personally built up a good reputation as a musician. It’s a lot nicer being the one you gets to choose now. 

Old School Super Cool Bump!

Up for re-sale a my lovely Ampeg B200r Combo. It’s in great condition and sounds glorious, especially with a P bass with flats. Looks super cool, greatly Ampegy tone and also has castors so it’s quite easy to move.

I checked his site at 1pm and nothing was up online then. Went back an hour later and it was sold out 😢

You really need to get a bass in the colour of your cat. Would be amazing.
