I was running it through a Barefaced 212T and never turned it up above 1/3 volume - and that was LOUD !!
    I believe it's worth it

This used to be my amp and I've run it through both Berg CN212 and Vanderkley LNT210 (both 4ohm cabs) and like @BigJHW I got it to about just over a third volume and entered "Jeezthatseffinloud" territory. Clear as a bell, great tone and it didnt even break a sweat lol 🤣

  2. After getting some guidance from a member here I have refined the pricing for the connectors. I'd originally checked RS components where I had bought them new but after a check around the £ varies quite widely depending on supplier, the cheapest tending to be DV-27. Also I learned to spell Neutrik correctly :facepalm:Open to offers / bulk etc.

I have just gone through a lot of my studio / PA gear and removed the excess insert and patch cables etc. and have gathered together quite a collection of connectors. Some of the items are brand new never been used but all are in great condition and fully functional. Most are Neutric but some are Deltron (which seem to cost 50% more than Neutric equivalent). Anyway, I've re-priced them and could be persueded to a bulk buy reduction. Postage would be based on how many and destination. The table below gives as much info on model / style as I know. The difference between the NC3FX style 1 and 2 seems to only be the cable gland design.

  3. For sale (or trade) is my Auralex Gramma isolation pad in great condition. I have 2 of these and this ones's spent its life in my "music room". This is the older design whith the more substantial handle underneath the board. Bax have these currently reduced in price from £132 to £94 so I think my asking price is pretty reasonable 🤷‍♀️ as it includes for UK postage! (Collection is an option)

    Size: 58 x 38 x 4.5 cm / 23″ x 15″ x 1.75″

  4. I used to have a 410L for a few years (two 10's front facing, two 10's side firing and the tweeter) which I later paired with the 2x15 (why? no idea but I did 🤣). I'd switched from SWR Goliath cabs to Schroeder as they were some of the first lightweight cabs to come on the market. They were solidly made cabs that could withstand gigging life. However, on mine, the general finish was a bit lacking as in the carpet covering edges needed re-gluing early on and the manufacturers label on the speakon plate was a badly printed piece of paper hand cut out and roughly glued to the back. 🤔  Sound wise it pretty much was as @Lozz196 says, on it`s own it was a little middy but in a band setting it really shone with a rich full sound and great dispersion.

  5. Have you looked around in the preamp cavity for stray strands of wire? All it needs is one strand causing a connection where it should'nt and it will drain the battery. Sometimes they can be sods to find as they're very fine and probably hiding behind something else. Good luck on finding a solution. 👍

  6. I've used the ACS Pro17's for the last 15 years in a number of different bands and going to others gigs. For me the £150 per pair is THE best value musical equipment I have bought. As @Lozz196 says many bands (including one of the ones I'm in ) are a danger to hearing. My plan is that when I become unable to gig the ACS will have saved my hearing enough for me to still hear and enjoy my music collection.

  7. I've just bought Roys Mesa Boogie D-800 off him. It's as described, in excellent condition, well packed and all comms were 1st class. Thanks for a speedy deal. 👍

  8. I've always thought from articles I've read that Mesa gear was ranked in the upper echelons of amps for both sound and quality. For full disclosure I've never played through one of their bass amps or even seen one in the flesh so can't vouch for them personally. However, looking at other amps of similar specs, such as the Berg Forte which goes for £1200 in the UK, the Mesa D800+ price doesnt seem too far off the mark. As others have said the price of the D-350 does seem a bit spicy compared to other offerings in the marketplace. I'm sure Mesa have done their market research but I can't see who would be buying the D-350 in any quantity: pro-player would probably want/need the higher power, dentist / lawyer would want the highest spec/power 🤣 and weekend warriors like myself would most likely want the extra grunt just 'cos we like being noisy! 🤣

For a while now I've had on my gas list to try the D-800 (which strangely isnt shown on the GG pre-order page GG-Mesa 🤔) Has it been discontinued as the Mesa page still has it available?

For an idea of what a good seal sounds like... put your fingers as deep as you can into your ears to block out as much sound as you can. If the seal on your inears don't sound comparable (or better), the fit isn't good.

Along with @Phil Starr and @EBS_freak's great comments I have used the following website to check the seal on my in-ears and found it a starter to getting a good seal. Basically use the tone audio files, follow the instructions and change out the tips as require to achieve the even tone. 👍

So you're not really too sure about what you want 🤣 (Good choice by the way, but I'd go fretted 👍)

It's a slot port. They tend to be used mainly in subwoofers (typically for in-car and home cinema systems). If designed properly, they can work quite well. I heard someone using one of those slotted Trace combos a while back and it sounded quite decent.

Thank you 👍 I shall dig a bit further on that info.

Mmmm, I thought the request was pretty straightforward eg:  "can any Eleven Rack (multi effects unit) user provide me with the settings for the effects patch "Secret Journeys"?

I have some patch files at home which I can try and have a look at when I get back in a couple of weeks (if you dont get sorted out).

Done some hunting but dont seem to have the info you need....sorry. 🤷‍♂️😔
