    Perfect!

But even Perfecter would be to buy a vibration unit separately....

I see that @Bigwan had "plans to do a DIY one when time allows.."

    Is that possible?

There was a project on one of the German bass forums showing the whole build process. If you look around the internet you'll see pictures of the insides of an Eich board. It's not just possible, it's uncomplicated!

Anyone invested in Ian Martin Allison's presets? Any good? I don't mind chucking a fiver or a tenner just to see what a patch is like but his are far more expensive and wondering if they're worth it. Especially the synth sounds which sound amazing on the videos that I've seen but I always suspect there's more going on than just bass>helix.

Look at Jon Willis/Dr. Tone presets... I'll leave it at that... IAM's presets came in for SERIOUS slagging for being horribly priced simple settings.

  3. My father-in-law was just talking the other day about the piano smashing competition his students union held during rag week. They destroyed 13 pianos on the steps of Leeds town hall - rules were that you had to be able to pass the pieces through a 9 inch square hole... Team of 4, 1 sledge hammer per team. They were donated the pianos for free by a local piano shop who couldn't get rid of second hand ones. My father-in-law turned 80 last month so maybe this isn't as new a problem as you'd think!

Anyway, just last week we donated an upright piano to a local charity shop who arranged for a local piano tuner to come pick it up. Might be worth consideration. You shouldn't have to be paying to get rid of anything in this day and age.

Yebbut Norn Iron is still in the EU, at least for trading purposes.

I've just had the one Musikding order which was post-Brexit and painless. As it was less than £135, presumably Musikding arranged the VAT. I assume that with goods worth more than £135 from a big seller like Thomann, they'd charge the VAT and pre-pay it to the delivery company.

Information on the subject has been so convoluted that I didn't even know that! 😄

  5. Been following on Instagram for a while. They look like a Blast Cult and a Dunable had a baby...

Unfortunately he seems to do any demos through a guitar amp. I'd like to REALLY hear what one sounds like. Some look very interesting, but some look hideous...

  6. ...and me only 15 miles away on my holibobs... Pity I couldn't secrete it about the car for the journey home...

Edit: drove right past Bingley this morning on the way to the National Coal Mining Museum too...

Probably not what you'd expect tbh... I'm in a doom band but we use quite a lot of dynamics so my board has become pretty hefty for some of what we do but the h9 also gives me a bit of scope to mess with phasers, dual delays, subs, was etc that does a nice job.

Band is here in case you're interested ✌️ https://open.spotify.com/album/3Nh8taOCUVkvj9YY2syNkd?si=uJgUc6JhTuSsp7yfEvXUPw&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A3Nh8taOCUVkvj9YY2syNkd

Exactly what I expected with the Wizard fuzz in there! I'll have to get a listen later - mobile phone speaker would do it no justice!

Always curious when I see a board like this. What kind of music do you play with this?
