1977 from the headstock decal, but could be from 1978 too.
Better check the pots and decipher their code number.
By the HEIC is not a good forim photo format, better use JPG...
The only original pot has 1377- 12 stamped on it. the other one has been replaced. Apparently that either '47 or '57...

I'm on a mission to find out the date and origin of the below precision.
I've been told it's a mid-late 70's the was originally fretless and has since been converted - no dots on the face of the fretboard. It's definitely been re-finished. The neck pocket is white. Is it a bitsa? if anyone can help shed some light that would be amazing!
Headstock serial: S7 59253
Heel edge serial: 0103 - 02
Heel back: 0385 J.Torres

You can make it even simpler using snapshots Dave. You only need to use one block and you can use the snapshot function to toggle different parameters of that block, so in your example you'd have a snapshot of your block, just with different gain and level settings. It saves DSP by not having to replicate a block.
OR you could set 1 FS to toggle between a low drive and high drive setting.

Shouldn't you be using the Pan blocks as opposed to the Send blocks? The send blocks are for the (Send L/R) outputs on the pedal not the L + R outputs. Pan your mod hard left and the pitch hard right?
I also ran into a bit of an issue with using the send blocks. I was trying to send a split signal out to my Meatbox via the send output (L) and trigger the function with FS1.
So far I found that having the block 'off' and Dry Thru @ 0 would send signal to my Meatbox. Seems a bit backwards to me...- 1

I am not being funny but can you tell me which ones are better?
SP400's for a start

I have used about 20 of the HiCon pancake plugs and had no problem.
They work sure, but I personally think there are better options out there.

I see that but I do use the HiCons on my pedal board.
The HiCon's seem vary in quality from connector too connector. The SP400's are one of the best quality plugs you can buy for compact/tight pedalboard builds.

I'm sure this is old news to some , but ive just come across a red version of the Stomp. Ive also seen it in Blue.
Love how painting it red warrants an extra £50...

I got a knock off EB2 from Ali express. It's actually alright. Few wonky things, it's not perfect, the electronics are absolutely god awful and neck doesn't feel great but I have managed to get a good action and it doesn't sound all that bad. I did try and ask for a "walnut" finish but got the advertised red.
Still have no idea why it's got that pickup selector... fun the play with though.

Cosmic CE6B's ordered, will report back once I've got my hands on them.

I have not used those, I use the Sommer HiCon. Although a different shape, they look to be similar quality. The hicons are black though.
I have just noticed that these are for cable if a maximum diameter of 4.6mm maximum outside diameter. That rules out the majority of guitar cables.
They are for patch leads not guitar leads! -

I find pancake plugs real sods to solder!
I went to Dawsons once looking for cables with pancake plugs and they said they'd never heard of them.
These days, for in-pedalboard, I use EBS Flats.
Van Damme Pro Grade XKE - Sorted.

I'm looking for a clean and articulate modern rock sound. I'm currently using a Grabber with fresh strings, the 400+ model and the darkglass b7k sim. I'm looking for lots of zing with a nice bottom end.
When I say I'm using headphones - I'm actually using IEMs.
My real life rig is a Mesa 400+ trough a Fender 610 (tweeter off) mic'd with a 57. **I'm not using this with the helix** -

I guess it's how you use them.
If you record with an ir cab, it sounds great.
However if you use an ir cab then go through your cab, I agree it sounds muffled.
What I do now is split the signal, so the ir cab goes to pa and no it cab goes to my cab.
Helps clean things up.
I'm not using it through a stack. Just through studio speakers and headphones at the moment. Has anyone else struggled with this?
I did have the intention of knocking out my cab using this but I'm feeling a bit unsure...

Has anyone actually found any of the bass cabs useful? I've found most of them put a blanket over my tone...? Does using your own IR's improve this?

I caved and picked one up...

Yep, those are the ones i was wondering about - do you use them?
Yep. Great plug. I built a huge pedalboard for a band I work with using these. I probably wouldn't use anything else now.

Build yourself some proper patch cables and use these. https://custom-lynx.co.uk/product/kmmk-squareplug-sp400-the-smallest-solder-type-1-4-right-angle-connector-created-to-date/

@Osiris I've got myself a set of AS10s that I've been using for work (I'm a backline tech) that I recently tried on a short tour with a full stack behind me - Fender 610 and a Mesa 400+. I'm looking at getting myself a set of Cosmic Ears as the KZ's don't have the greatest fit/seal and come loose a fair amount. I did like having the weight behind me though...
I'm very very precious about my tone. I've been an absolute pedal whore over the years. Most of them are drive and synth based. I know the Stomp doesn't have a synth engine, how do the drives play with analogue pedals? -

That’s what the Backbeat is for 😛
I'm currently awaiting delivery of a very heavy bass so more weight is a no no at the moment, that and I move around a lot on stage! Less wires the better for me!

I’m using a Stomp with IEMs. Although I ditched the full rig setup a little while ago anyway. Using a Backbeat, I do not miss the rig at all!
Maybe I should take the plunge. Did you not miss the weight of having a rig behind you?

You could probably ditch the B7K and X7. The B7K sim is bang on, and you have all the crossover/compression/distortion/Eq capabilities to build an X7-ish effect too (I managed to get quite close to my DP-3X which is in a similar ballpark). Although you are limited to run fewer FX with the Stomp vs the rest of the range!
I think I would have to try the Darkglass sims myself before I start ditching the pedals. The limitations of blocks are what's making more interested in mainly using the amp and cab sims... Who's gone down the IEM route?
Help me date this Fender precision

Interesting. The serial decoder I used is apparently naff!
