1. I played this bass too at the The Gallery in Camden and it just blew me away and set me in a dangerous course and now I have 3 Foderas. Can't say I'm not tempted. Good luck with the sale.👍
2. This bass is just stunning. I don't play fretless but if I had the bread I'd buy it just to brag. This is Ken Smith's 1st Gen and original active pre-amp with Q control. Good luck with the sale.
3. Hi, can you tell me the spec's on this bass; woods, pick-ups, scale length and string spacing at the nut & bridge? Thanks
4. Blimey, I thought it was sold? I'm just window shopping at the moment but I have been looking for a nice Smith 5!
5. Hi, is this case still up for sale? I'm in Central London and prepared to pay for post & packing, or if the cost is equal to a return ticket to Cheltenham I could do the journey by train this weekend? cheers! - Lugzy
Withdrawn not for sale, gigged it tonight sounds and plays flipping amazing , it's a keeper
Haz, that's good news indeed, so glad to hear! It takes a while to gel with basses and Fodera (arguably, the best of the best) are no different. For the record, I bought a Fodera Emperor 5 Elite (chestnut top) from Harry last month and it's the business. Haz's description was 100 per cent accurate and the bass has no issues, however, personally, I do find it a bit heavy to wear for long periods and being accustomed to 17.5 string spacing it takes a few minutes to adjust, but the upside to this is that the sound and playability is just outstanding, second to none, I'm think Haz will agree with me on that one. Harry being one of the most upfront and honest people you could wish to do business with would probably still have sold this, should an offer have come up before he decided it was a keeper, but again...I'm glad he's gonna stick with it. Enjoy it Haz..all the best.

10. Harry is one of the most upfront and honest persons you could ever wish to meet and your guaranteed that any business transaction will be trouble free. Top man ++AAA
11. Hi Igorsoroove, I was negotiating to buy this bass with Rainer, I even offered to meet him at Bonn airport to do a straight swap but he wantted to sell it lt locally. What a shame, it's a great bass just waiting for a good home. I've just bought something so I can't go for it, but I know someone who might be interested. I'll point them in your direction. Cheers - Lugzy
12. Hi Wira, I'm a new member to Basschat, although I've been viewing the site for a few years. I sent you a message earlier today, it was supposed to be a PM, not sure if I did it correctly. Anyway, I'm interested in your bass and wanted to know if you'd be interested in an offer of 2500 euros? My elder brother is in Germany at the moment but returns to the UK on Tuesday 26 Apr, so I could get a cheque to you pretty fast. Your thoughts? Regards - Lugzy
