Delberthot, The bridge was introduced on the earlier BB615, this was to improve the B string (quite obviously) I had a 615 and I must say it was fine, recommended GazzBass

Not sure of the availability of the genuine RBV pups, pretty certain they were Lawrence design? Now you've added the J Retro I'm sure yours sound fine !!!
