    New (that's pre-owned but new to me) bass day! SKC Bogart 5 string arrived yesterday, quick string change this morning and spent the day in the studio with it today. Plays great, records beautifully!

    Been playing my Lakland 55-01 almost exclusively over the last couple of weeks (through necessity for an upcoming gig), and it's just brilliant. These hit so far above their weight for the money!!

      I must admit that all the non-US Laklands I have ever tried played like butter and sounded great and to me were almost on par with their US built counterpart, there really is not much in it and the US built instruments are awesome.
