ikay - I am unable to give an exact weight Im afraid, only a bathroom scale job.

I do have the case, a hardshell Fender one that came with it, but Im keeping it for the P I have just bought.

Yes, sorry, Simple Minds original bassist. Should have said "....Simple Minds basslines..." rather than "SM basslines...".

Very melodic player and responsible for the unique sound of early SM up to the Sparkle In The Rain album.

Entwistle, Foxton and Forbes are my top three, so it was a pleasure to see one of my heroes play, meet him afterwards and spend the whole evening into the early hours drinking and talking early SM basslines in the hotel bar.
