Hey, i saw your posting about chorus pedals from a while back.
What did you end up with?
-
Yeah, that's just what you want at bed time isn't it... back pain that gets worse when you lie down. Great.

I have been recovering from a lower back issue and tweaked it yesterday. You have my sympathy Rich. I couldn't roll over in bed last night and was concerned I might never move again it was so bad. Luckily my back support was within reach and I managed to get it on. This at least enabled me to move again.

There are two things I can tell you about rotator cuff tendonitis.
1. It hurts.
2. It really, really hurts.

Hi all . I hadn’t picked a bass up since I was 19 and I’m 56 now but due to being furloughed I decided to record some songs that I’d written . I need a bass and found this on Facebook market place for an absolute snip at £25 reduced from £100. It’s got some scars and the neck was all over the place but after a total strip download clean and professional set up I must says that it now plays like a dream and sounds great . The guy who was selling it was moving house and didn’t play and just wanted rid of it . It had brand new strings on it which he put on to help sell and a very newish Fender strap. There is no identification on it apart from Tanglewood and as I wanted to find out something about this range of basses I contacted them and they sent me pictures from their 1997 brochure with my bass type in it . They told me that it was probably made between 96 and 99. Now I can’t put it down and I’m enjoying bass playing again . Has anyone else got one and what’s your views . By the way we spent more than £25 the night before when recording on pizzas and beer .

Had a low profile on here recently....Mum died on 27th June following a stroke and bleed on the brain.
Her suffering has come to an end.

Please may I have seven more follows on my (new) YouTube page so I can finally get past 100 subscribers?
@DanVeallBassist
This is my own page, which is rather empty as all of my gear reviews are hosted on the Guitar Interactive Magazine website and YouTube channel @GuitarInteractiveMag
So, mine is a bit empty. I'm starting from the ground up and need your help ❤️

Well, I got a zoom b1x four and what can I say beyond "now I can't feel the fingertips on my right hand" it sure does give one the confidence to dig in. The octaver is a nice thing and there's a lot of bleepy bloop in that box AND it connects to linux just fine.

So, the ever present question: Do I sell all these bits of kit that I don't actually use anymore, or keep them on the off chance that a band (job) might require them in the future. I could do with the cash frankly, but the value of the kit could mean that if I buy again in the future, I could end up paying more in the long run. Hmmmmmm

Elvis fan? Stewblack, if I'm right you're an Elvis Costello fan. In this case can you explain his receipt of an OBE? Not just why he got one but also why he accepted it, as I don't believe his "my mum told me to" story for a nanosecond, mainly because of his unfathomable ego.
I normally like to be positive but this bothers me somewhat.
Cheers

Hello mate, been a long time admirer of his lyrics and music but hadn't heard anything about this.
I do know anything he tells the press should be taken with a pinch of salt.
It does seem odd doesn't it? For the author of Oliver's Army who once described England as 'the whore of the world' to accept the order of the British empire.
At the end of the day it's none of my business of course. A personal decision which, for all we know, he might have made to make his mum proud.

Popped a TC Spark Mini on my board so I can switch between a couple of basses with very different outputs without changing pedal settings. Perfect, super quiet, super transparent, sorted!

Wondering whether I should be annoyed that a bass I agreed to buy at the asking price and collect at the sellers earliest availability has been 'sold' to someone else without the buyer telling me......

Hi all!
I'm looking forward to share and obtain bass related stuff and to meet other low end addicts.
