  1. Last chance saloon, £100 collected from Swansea or + postage cost
  2. Hi, At the moment myself and the bass are in Swansea, but I will be in Bromley, Kent for a week at the end of March if that is any more convenient? Also, I'm quite happy to post at this price.
  3. Anyone interested at £120 posted before this goes on eBay? Still willing to split up for parts if people are keen
  4. PRICE DROP! - £170, that includes postage. I'll also consider splitting up for parts if anyone is interested
  5. Hi everyone, For sale is my bitsa P-Bass, built with much love about 2 years ago. Has served me well but gets very little playing time nowadays as my no. 2 so unfortunately needs to go. [attachment=156831:IMG_0419.JPG] The neck is from a 96 (50th anniversary sticker on back of head) Squier. A nice, modern type shallow C. Typically of a bass of that age. Frets are decent (lots of wear left) and the tuners are from the same bass. [attachment=156830:IMG_0424.JPG] The pickup is a Dimarzio Model P, classic P sounds as you would expect. Also fitted is an ebony thumb rest (in my preferred position) [attachment=156832:IMG_0420.JPG] The body and bridge are from an old Westfield P-Bass copy, no idea on the date apart from it's 1990s at the latest. The only downside is that this chunk is missing from where the neck meets the body, as far as I'm concerned it doesn't affect the sound of the bass at all, looks like the previous owner was struggling to get a neck wider than the original in: [attachment=156833:IMG_0421.JPG] The rest of the body is not spotless, there are the usual small knocks and scratches, but nothing that goes through the paintwork. I have tried to be as thorough as I can, but any questions please ask away!

  7. A 94 MIM P and a bitsa P, pretty much all I need right now
  8. I've got a MIM Standard P, 1994 according to the serial number, and I love it to be honest. Best 'P-type' neck I've ever played. I think it really comes down to 'try before you buy', lots of mixed experiences with pretty much any brand/model of bass it's all about what's right for you!
  9. Tried it out with the band last night, easily kept up with the drummer and a Marshall half stack. Mega impressed, plan to go through the PA when gigging next month but it's defo loud enough for onstage, V happy!
  10. OK well it came today, and is AMAZING. With the right EQ it was getting almost uncomfortably loud, gonna try it out at practise tomorrow but I'm pretty sure its going to be more than loud enough.
  11. Cheers Loz, reading the TB thread persuaded me really, just seemed such a bargain at the soundslive price and with such good press.
  12. Guys apologies for reviving the thread, but still stressing over my first 'gig' rig. Just bought a v cheap Laney 115 (200 watts 8 ohms) from the For Sale forums and still struggling to decide what best to pair it with. My budget is V limited and considering all the good press you guys are giving the MB200, how crazy do you think it would be to use as my main head? Loud enough with the 115 + PA? We play a lot of open mics as well and it would be great to just take in my back pack and then plug straight into the PA, is this realistic? ...these 'problems' really shouldn't stress me out as much as they do
