1. We're looking for an experienced bass player, preferably double bass but we'll consider a uke or electric bass if otherwise you're the person we're looking for. We play old-style Country (think BR549 rather than the corny stuff most people don't like!), some Rockabilly and Rock n Roll. The guys in the band having been playing this kind of music for many years so we're looking for someone who has done similar, or who at least has a genuine passion for this kind of music. We rehearse in Edinburgh and you'll need your own transport. https://www.facebook.com/borderradioband
2. Established Country/American Roots band looking for a bass player (bass guitar, double or uke bass). Heavily influenced by Marty Stuart, The Derailers, BR549, Doug Sahm .... This isn't a full-time band so it wouldn't suit a pro however we are looking for commitment ie: regular practice in the Edinburgh area. Gigs organised UK wide for 2019 - you'll need your own transport. **** Experience in playing Country/American Roots music is essential! **** If interested please get in touch with info on your playing experience and influences.
3. Established Country band looking for a bass player. Must have a background in Country/American Roots music. We would prefer a double bass or bass ukulele player but will consider electric. Would suit someone living in central Scotland - we rehearse in Livingston. Due to life/work commitments this band does not play on a full time basis but a high standard of musicianship, dedication, regular rehearsals and willingness to travel for gigs is a must. We gig in Scotland and England. You will need your own transport. If interested please get in touch with info on your playing experience and influences.

5. We're a group of experienced musicians putting together an Americana band - we're now looking for preferably a double bass player but will consider electric bass to form the nucleus of the band. Heavily influenced by Marty Stuart and the Superlatives and BR549. The link to the YouTube video below shows me on lead with my former band. It'll give you an idea of the standard we're looking for but this will NOT be the style of the new band. Please get in touch if you have similar influences and you have a passion for this type of music. Thanks!
6. Bass player wanted for Rock n Roll band The Accelerators. We would prefer a double bass player but would consider electric. We're an established band, based in East Scotland, whos roots are firmly in the 1950s but we're influenced just as much by the 'Roadhouse Rock n Roll' bands that were around in the 80s ie: The Blasters and The Paladins. We play everything from Rock n Roll, Rockabilly, Country, Doowop, Blues etc., originals and covers. The person we are looking for must have experience in playing and be passionate about the music we play. Check out our website: here. If you're interested and think you're who we're looking for, please get in touch.
