What's the weight on the bass? If it's still available...

Apologies for not getting back to you, I'm not getting notifications through. Still available and bathroom scales say 10.5lbs so pretty average Stingray weight

  2. I picked this up on here not too long ago to give a Stingray type thing a try, but I think when it comes down to it I still prefer my jazz and I need to buy some other bits and pieces. Won't mind if it takes a while to sell though...

This one was made in 2007, great condition for its age with one small paint ding on the back of the body and minor wear around the headstock. It's fitted with a Stingray Classic pickguard and comes with a TGI hard case, I recently had it set up and it's got a newish set of D'Addarios on.

You're welcome to come and give it a play or meet up somewhere around York, otherwise happy to courier.IMG_20200119_114128.thumb.jpg.3bcca6bc74fa9cc3fa7c819567697359.jpg

  3. [forgot to bump this for a few months, still available...]

These are great budget cabs, just a bit overkill for lots of the smaller gigs I do so I've downsized. Comes with a high quality Hot Covers case, it took a couple of small dings before I got that sorted and there's a few round the bottom from tight car packs but nothing major. I stained the marks black so they're not very noticeable.

800 Watts, 8 ohm, 21.3 kgs, 29x906x906mm, Neo drivers, speakon and jack in, horn defeat switch.

Ideally collection from York or I can deliver if you're not too far off.

  4. Mick sold me a cab in response to my wanted ad; he persevered through technological faff to get it sent nice and quickly, refunded a botched PayPal payment and has been a gent throughout. Top BCer, can't recommend highly enough.

  5. I'm selling my David Gage Realist, it's probably about 10 years old but fully functional and I think I've still got the original packaging somewhere. There's a little nick in the foil where it joins the cable as shown in the photos; it's been like that for a few years and hasn't got any worse and still feels solid. I'm up for trades for other pickups with cash adjustment either way, let me know what you've got.

  6. Selling my Zoom B3n, it's a little bit scuffed on top from the plug rattling around on my pedal board but generally in good nick. Comes boxed with original power supply. £100 + p&p

I have a set which I'd forgotten about and not used....can anybody give a review?

I tend to burn through strings pretty fast so I've been using them on and off for years, especially when I'm not gigging much or for festival weekends where I'm going to kill whatever set I put on so it might as well be a cheap one. They do the job and sound ok, don't feel as nice as the D'Addarios or Ernie Balls I'd rather be using but one can't be too picky when they're 20% of the price.

  8. Zoom MS-60B - also picked up on here after doing the rounds somewhat and picking up some battle scars, there's a fair few paint chips as you can see but it's in perfect working order. It's been a really useful 'catch all' single-unit sized box to have on my board. £55 + p&p

MXR M82 (SOLD) - only picked this up on here a couple of weeks ago, it's great but I've bought too much stuff recently so I'll let it go before I get too attached to it. One small ding and a bit of rubbing round the sides but very good condition overall and comes with its box. £90 + p&p

  9. Sold - I'm selling my Darkglass B7K with original box, may well end up regretting it and getting another but I want to try out a few things. It's in great condition on the top and sides, there's a few small scratches on the bottom.

£180 inc special delivery, would consider trades for other similar preamps with switchable drive.

    *Price drop £275*

I'm selling my Markbass Club 102; I've pretty much only used this cab for the last few years, but recently plumped for a 4x10 as my band now uses two kits and I  find myself wanting to move more air. Unfortunately I only have space in the house and car for one cab as it pairs beautifully with the 4x10. There's not a lot about on the net but the club series are well regarded in various posts, now long discontinued and I think fairly scarce. For that reason I'm a bit unsure on the price as there's nowt to go on so will consider reasonable offers.

It can be used on its side as a wedge, 400W, 8 ohm with fully adjustable compression driver tweeter 2 combi speakon/jack connectors and weighs I  at 30lbs/13.5kg according to Markbass.

It's been well gigged over the years and has a couple of scratches in the black covering, likewise the Roqsolid cover has some wear but still plenty of life left in it.

I'll consider trades, particularly for a GK MB500/800. Fairly set for other things but no harm in asking.

Trial and collection in York preferred but can probably courier.

  11. Met Will this morning to buy a cab, he's a really friendly guy and very obligingly let me try it out through three of his amps. Smashing basschatter and couldn't recommend him highly enough. Thanks!
