Total Watts

  1. You don't have the original electronics to include with the sale?
  2. This is a fantastic bass! Regarding the reference to the Vulture II. The Vulture II is one of the basses I still miss and I do regret the sale. It was beautiful, and both the Vulture and the Daion was built by Yamaki. But, Daion is playing in a higher league. The Daion is vibrating under your hands. At least my 2 Daions do. And the pickups seems to be a bit better. In fact these are the best P/J basses I ever played and I will never change out the pickups. This is a bargain and I am sorry I can't afford buying one more. Buy this someone so that I don't have to see it
  3. Thank you. However I passed on this bass and went for a Warwick Star Bass instead
  4. Nope... the number says 90900xx. As I can understand the first two digits are the year, the next one or two for the month and finally the production number that month....
  5. Thank you The bass is labelled "Tibute series Made in Japan" and is Crafted in September 1990. I wrote above that it had some scratches. Thats wrong. It was only a light reflection. The finish is spotless.
  6. Thank you guys! The bass is manufactured in 1990. There seems to be a few paint chip on the black part of the sunburst, where you put your right arm. I´m not sure what he expect for the bass. When he first suggested the trade I wasn't too interested, but it seems to be a nice bass. The only problem is I´m aiming for a Thunderbird. What is the neck like on a SB-2? I really like the design of the bass.
  7. My first bass in the early 80's was a Duke built by the (un)famous Kawai/ Teisco company. It took 15 years after that experience until I bought a bass again.
  8. Hi, I have been offered a G&L SB-2 Tribute Made in Japan as part of a trade. Searching on internet doesn't give much result so my questions are; What is the value of the bass? What is the quality compared to US-made and the current Far East production? I know it might be a hard question to answer... I'm totally lost when it comes to G&L. I have never had any but the only one I've tried played like a dream.
