    Note to self: in future, never ever ever get a Covid booster and a flu jab at the same time or in the same arm. Ouch, and moreover, ugh. 🤕😷

      Agreed - mine insisted on one jab in each arm. Makes sense when you think about it. I had a bit of an ache in each arm the next day, but soon disappeared.

    I've noticed my left ear was a bit muffled of late, so all this week I've been popping a few drops of Otex in each evening in an attempt to soften it all up... last evening I gave it a good flush out with some hot water, and now not only can I hear in glorious stereo again, but I've got the makings of a good sized candle. zzzzzzzbx3o48f1K6x6.gif.b2b3fc9149a80279e6c0387c2182a48e.gif

      I use a wax removal tool purchased from eBay for a couple of quid. It’s the one with the silicone spiral heads, and does the job pretty well. Got fed up of paying £60 for a visit to a 

      specialist, after my NHS surgery stopped offering the service.

      ( Will probably still go for an occasional professional de-wax, but less often than previously needed.)

    What would be a good preamp/modeller/driver/DI to go straight into a PA?  Before everyone starts naming bespoke, top of the range items, please bear in mind that the budget is low.  When I say low, I mean that I was looking at a Behringer BDI21, low.

      The Behringers are great! I have a couple, and use one as a spare for my Sansamp Bass Driver which Behringer apparently copied. Not really bomb proof build, but if you look after them they are fine. Sound great and stupid value for money! No hesitation in recommending them at all. Cheers, Pete.
