  1. Apologies fellow base chatters for any misleading information given about the neck of this bass.
I purchased this bass from a fellow basschatter a couple of years ago. He described  it as an ‘A’ profile neck and I never bothered to take the neck off and check, but, as I recall it felt really slim! However, I’ve just taken the neck off to add some more photos and it turns out it’s actually a B profile P bass which for the uninitiated is 15/8’’ width at the nut.

  2. Redundancy sadly forces the sale of my pride and joy go to fender precision bass! bass is a 1972 fender precision.  Super light weight with loads of punch from the original 1972 pickups! it has been lovingly refinished in lake placid blue over Olympic white it is all original except for the following 1) scratch plate/pic guard 2) brass nut and 3) Potts and Jack socket, although I have the original Pots and Jack socket and these will go with the bass.
it will be shipped in a good quality repro Fender tweed hard case anywhere in the EU at buyers cost.

viewing encouraged and welcome following social distancing rules of course. further photos available  upon request.

    NO TRADES!

Did you end up getting one of these, Davey?  If so, how's it going?  I'm really keen to hear if they are as good as the claims.  I'm a huge 1x12 fan.

    Thanks 🙂

I managed to get a really good deal on one of these elusive cabs at the recent Guitar show in Birmingham. I will feedback my thoughts/impressions when I've put it through it's paces in the next couple of weeks. 🙂

This is what the interweb says:-

Don't be fooled by its diminutive, dare we say "cute", appearance.

The Ampeg Micro-VR is a compact powerhouse fully capable of pumping its 200 watts of genuine Round Sound ™ into myriad live and recording situations.

This portable, powerful solid-state head in traditional Ampeg drag is a pleasant surprise from the second you lay eyes on it to the moment its indisputable Ampeg tone hits your ears.

The Ampeg SVT210AV is the portable alternative to a full sized SVT cab. Ideal for bleed-sensitive recording situations where the SVT810-AV can be too loud and live situations where it can be too large, the SVT210AV is designed using Ampeg's legendary Infinite Baffle ™ system for maximum speaker efficiency and true Ampeg tone.
