  1. Hello,

Up for sale a wonderful Vigier Arpege Series II. Pictures do not reflect the beauty of this beast. I can send pictures on request.

I have an hardshell case. Not in pristine cosmetical condition but good enough for shipment.

Whoever knows about these basses, knows about its quality. I am just selling this unit because I just got another Vigier, not as fancy as this one but good enough for what I need.

The only non original thin in this bass is the pickup selector. A previous owner replaced the original one. The electronics have been fully revised an everything works as it should. The preamp on the Arpege (contrary to the preamp in the passion, IMHO) is great. Active/passive with a tone control working in both modes.

The Google translate isn't great but, assuming this must be the same bass, can you expand on the preamp issue and whether this has been repaired?

You are right, the add said that there was a problem with the preamp.

That bass was sold in a Spanish second hand platform one week ago and the problem with thew preamp was stated in the add. I do not know whether the presmp has been repared.

  3. Regarding the electronics, the knob closest to the pickup selector should be a push pull knob. Pulling that knob it should be activating the preamp. Have you checked that? That push-pull knob works as a boost/cut for the frecuency that you can select with the pot that is nearby (the one near the phase/out of phase switch).

Some people do not like it but for my taste is a ver smooth preamp.

  4. I offer for trade my Squier JV precision. It comes in an non often seen olympic white.

Everything is original but the pickguard. The original pickguard (white) would be included.

I am open for trades, mainly for musicman. I do prefer natural finish and 4 strings but other colors and 5 strings are also wellcome.

The bass is located in Madrid (Spain).

    Regards.
