Looks exactly the same model as my old Westone, except mine had a black-painted neck.

I can't think of a single song I hate.
Not see the appeal of, or find boring, yes. But actually hate ?
No.

I'm tempted to do the bazz fuzz as my first attempt!
Good choice.

Jingles? Not sure about that, but it'd be nice if a few more had a go at the monthly composition challenge to get the artistic juices flowing 🎶
Fair point.

But if I did volunteer I definitely could write, compose and produce a much much better alternative.
Now, you see....maybe we should all have a go at creating our own BC jingles.

I quite enjoyed the piece of music. Reminded me of Squarepusher, but on a Sunday morning
Mad skills to boot.

...complete with absolutely terrible mix and sound quality as well...
I'd completely disagree with you.
The sound quality is amazing! You can really hear, with quite astounding clarity, that everybody singing has a large beard.
Try headphones, maybe.

Seeing as it was made by a machine and not a fellow musician, I feel I can dispense with tact and the appreciation due for another's artistic endeavours.
It sounds like a mobile phone advert

I wonder if Ashdown are recommending linear power suplies as some switching ones can be noisy. Not something I've found with the HB supplies BTW.
In your situation, I'd try your Mooer unit - assuming it'll provide the 100mA - and see how it goes.
The Boss 230 is worth a try if the Mooer doesn't work out.

How about one of the Harley Benton ISO models? I'm very pleased with my two - I have an ISO-5 and ISO-2. A few more power outs than you need at the moment, but good to have the extra slots.

That's a big decision to make, but good for you for going with it.
Bass will still be here if your world spins that way again.
Have fun !

What about zipties but put bits of foam under the part where it goes around the edge.
Or only use it in studio and get a big muff clone for the board.
Yep - ziptie it to a piece of board* and velcro that to your pedalboard.
*Other thin, flat materials are available

Worth it for just the octave-down effect you can get from it. Great pedal.

I have vague recollection of seeing some pictures of folky/prog bands using something similar for those tricky banjo/mandolin/dulcimer/sackbutt interludes.
Deffo a touch of theatre for the band above, but quite a boon if you struggle with the weight of your instrument.
Not sure I could stand still enough!

I used Fast Fret for a year or two about 30 years ago.
Apart from making the strings slippy I didn't feel it added much sonically to my set-up.

I played a gig with a twice Mercury Prize-nominated drummer a couple of years ago.
Not who we wanted, but the best dep we could get on the night.
