  1. This is something like the colour I’m looking at.
  2. I went across to Overwater in November to discuss getting a bass built. Chris gave me a guided tour of the workshops. I got to meet all the team a very talented bunch of guys. Me and Chris sat down and we discussed exactly what I wanted for the bass specs wise. I also had a good chat with Martin the Workshop manager about different woods they have in stock. Here are the specs I went for in the end. Body - Mahogany Neck - Five piece neck through fretted 40mm nut Facings- Top - Back & Headstock Burl Maple - stained Fingerboard - Ebony with Burl Maple block markers. EQ - OW 3 band Pickup OW SB4 Matching wooden pickup covers and knobs with ebony tops & matching burl maple backplates Hardware - Black Finish- Satin The build has started now here are a few photos Martin sent me of the top and the neck for the diary.
  3. My Fretless P/J with a Status neck
  4. These are fantastic cabs unfortunately to far away for me. GLWTS
  5. You should be able to get some from John East.
  6. The MXR is in the same condition as the Aguilar Jim it’s mint. To be honest I’m pretty tempted to keep it as a backup just in case my 3 Leaf packs up.
  7. My old bass I sold it to Andy T I totally agree with you the playability and sound. GLWTS

  9. Just sold a filter pedal to Jim fast payment and great communication an absolute pleasure to deal with and a credit to the Basschat community.
  10. I’m thinning out some of my collection and I’ve decided to let another one of my Bravewood p basses go. Anyone who knows anything about Bravewood basses will tell you how good they are. They are totally hand made both bodies and necks. The bass has a Bare knuckle pickup fitted and comes with a new Hiscox case.
  11. To be honest I’m not sure regarding signatures. I still have 3 Bravewood basses but I’ve never taken the neck of any of them. He certainly doesn’t sign the back of the headstock.
  12. All of these nice comments are making my have second thoughts about moving it on.
  13. Sorry I forgot to mention in my description the width of the nut and the weight of the bass. The nut is either 41 or 42 I can’t quite tell. The weight is 8.75 lbs I’ve now amended the description.
  14. I’m starting to slim down my collection a little. This is a fantastic p bass and I’m sure will not disappoint whoever buys it. Bravewood basses are totally hand crafted both bodies and necks. The weight of the bass is 8.75 lbsJohn doesn’t build to order anymore so you could wait a long time before he builds another 58. The bass is currently strung with La Bella flat wound strings and comes with a new hard case. I’m not interested in any trades If anyone has any questions please PM me.
  15. Yes it has it’s a PDN Neptune Blue.
