I am thinking of getting a TC RH450 but dont think i can manage to get the matching cabs at the moment. Therefore i am thinking of using my existing 2x10 with HF trace cab.
Would be interested if anyone has tried this or has any advice on the subject.

I am thinking of selling my trusted Trace Elliot AH-300-12 300 watt head carpet covered (pre Gibson made in Essex) and matching 4x10 (1048H) with HF horn. All in as new condition apart from the cover on the gain rotary (fell off in the late 90's never have been able to find it).
Only problem is im not sure how much to put them up for. I'm looking for something lighter as my back is not getting any young so would consider a trade for a TC RH450 and cab or something simular and lightweight.

Going through the passive section has given me the extra gain and i am now set around 8 to 9.

Have plugged in the passive section now and that gives me the amount of gain i need. Set aroun 8 to 9 now and the valves sounding sweet.

Mep, I'm talking about the gain, I'm not mad!!! I would break the foundation of my house on 10 volume.

Will try a new lead. It sounds fine but the valve is not being driven enough. So sounds not very dirty even full up.

Can I adjust the gain inside the amp, I am plugging in active basses with high outputs but i have to crank the gain up to 10 just to get in the ok but only when playing really hard.
Can anyone help!

I have a Trace Elliot AH300-12, I am plugging into this an Alembic Mark King signiture and my other bass is a Warwick Dolphin pro 1. The problem i have is that with both basses i have to turn the gain up to 10 just to get into the orange ok when played heavy.
There is plenty of volume and the amp has been the same since new, but i am finding that the compression section and the valve section are not really working at there best.
Is there anyway that i can adjust the gain pot or something inside so i can get more gain for the basses i am plugging in.

Hope someone can help want to start driving that valve harder and with the low gain its niot really possible.

I have a Boss-532 and it has been collecting dust for a couple of years now, I have used it very little and it just seems a waste to let it sit there. Therefore i am thinking of selling it or possibly trading it for a Bass Multi effects unit (something good by Boss or Korg or someone).
If i were to sell it i was looking for £95, as it is as new condition in the box with the instructions and with a power supply.

Well I have a Warwick Dolphin pro 1 black,

[b][/b]Brought this new two weeks ago but it does not suit the music i am currently play (shame as it sounds funky and i so wanted it to work). I brought this for £59.99 but i am willing to sell it for £45, it has only been activated a couple of times and not even by foot!, comes boxed with instructions. I am based in Kidlington Oxford.
