Well, thanks That's my problem, I don't see a chance to test one in the next weeks...maybe months, but I need a 1x12 asap and I'm not sure if can go with that "bright alu'sound"... I'm almost decided to go to the Epi for almost the same price.

Nice! In fact that just increased my curiosity about this cab... And what about the Epi? Anybody here can compare both?

Hi there I'm thinking about buying one of these and I'm very curious, but have no chance to test it. Does some of you know this cab and can make a short review on it? Basicaly, I can´t decide between this and a Epifani PS112... thanks

Hi Have a chance to buy a RogersGuitars bass 5. I've tried to find any comments or opinions on this but...nothing. Does some of you have any experience on these basses or at least know something about them? Thanks

My new PF-500 arrived yesterday I'm counting all the minutes until tomorrow gig. It will be connected to my SVT410HE. Let's see how it works compared with my old SVT350.

Thanks I'm really thinking about buying one of these to replace my SVT-350. Not any special reason, I like the SVT but I'm not getting younger and the SVT is not easy to carry to gigs. A 5Kgs amplifier sounds much better... but I'm really concerned about the sound quality from the PF-500 once I have no chance to try before buy it.

Hi guys Thanks for your feedback, i think I'm gonna buy this one even without the chance to test it. I'm only afraid that the power could be short for little gig's with the band, but I think I'll take the risk. thanks

Does anyone have more opinions about this amp? i'm also thinking about buying one because i need a small and compact combo for little gig as bars, hotels, etc. I play in a covers band and normally use a BA115 but it is too heavy and I'm not getting younger...! What are your opinions?

Just love my MTD Z5, I don't know the Heir but the Z5 neck is wonderfull. Actually the stock preamp is not good at all, but I've replaced it by a Bart 918f and it sounds much better now (see [url="http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=107824)"]http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=107824)[/url]. Maybe one day I'll replace also the pickups, but for now is good enough. I also prefer the MTD than a Lakland skyline.

I've replaced the stock preamp with the bartolini. The sound is a little better and more reach on middle tone, but the more efective change is the output level, it's much higher with the barts.

I know its strange, but I heard a lot about the Z5 with bartolini or nordtrand preamps and I'm courious if I can get a better sound with the bartolini solution since i have it in my desk... I like the sound, but if bart preamp gets even better i'll install it. Thats why I'm asking for opinions from people who have done the same.
