Phil died yesterday after a battle with cancer. Thought it would be nice to post pics of his work. My 88 which I've had since new and will never part with. Truly the bass bass I've ever had.

My favourite to play is Come Undone. Bit of a wierd chord structure and note choice. For upfront high in the mix it has to be Save a Prayer.

The bottom end on the factor is totally killer. When i put my xfactor up against the stingray, the ray is totally blown away. so much so that my mate got rid of his coz of the huge difference in tone between them.

Mine was a mid 90's mia fender jazz fretless. totally awful bass. Dead wood body, fingerboard had the feel of long dead elephant hide, pickups sounded like farts underwater whilst wearing a full face crash helmet. The pups wernt even alligned to the stings. Total disaster of a bass. And people pay 1000's for this crap! Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey.
