1.
I'm not a big fan of Behringer gear in general, but this pedal board I can definitely recommend. It's light weight, sturdy, comes with a very good and adequately dimensioned power supply. It's made of plastic, but not an extremely rigid one so it can stand the bumps of the road without breaking. It's also really easy for you to customise the internal space so it can fit bigger pedals like a wah, or a big muff. I've been using mine every day at home and at least once a week gigging around for one year now, with no complaints.

If you have any more questions about it, let me know.
thanks. which board?

  2. Hi guys

Pretty much what it says on the tin. I use about 10 (ish) pedals, obviously various sizes but nothing larger than a cry baby or big muff.

Been looking at Spider boards at Flightcase warehouse, either the medium or large. Just trying to get some advice from you guys before i blag my girlfriend for an early christmas present.

    Thanks in advance

    Phil

  3. Hi

Was wondering which power supplies people would recommend for my new pedal board. All of my pedals are 9V. Currently i have about 10 in use so what are the best solutions for powering, except for batterys. In my experience it becomes just too expensive.

    Cheers guys

    Phil

  4. I've had this for about 4/5 years and it has been a loyal soldier on the road but the time has come for us to part ways. She's in good nick with a few signs of ware and tear. Nothing major but she has travelled thousands of miles with me. Comes complete with fabric cover and footswitch. Had some problems listing the spec as they don't seem to be available from Trace any more. In full working order. I have a buddy at the Trace factory checking it over now so potential buyers can be confident that she is in full working order. As soon as i get her back i'll post pics. Guessing £450 would be a reasonable price but i'm open to offers. Like everyone else i'd prefer to not have to list on ebay so trying here first. let me know any thoughts

Good to hear!! How much would you say is a fair price for fellow bass players? It has the cover and footswitch and is pretty good nik

  6. HI

Just joined this army of online bassists and wanted to say hi. Been playing for about 14 years and love it. Currently working full time for a band. I play a Jag bass through the RH450 with Trace 2x10 and 1x15. Kinda came together via different setups along the way but sounds pretty sweet to my ear. That along with a bunch of pedals and i'm a happy camper. Selling my Trace AH500-7 in the very near future so if anyone knows or might be interested please let me know as it will save the ebay monsters from pocketing some of my cash.

I would try running it off a battery and see if the hum vanishes. If it does then you know you need an isolated power supply. There are loads of good ones out there and the TREX pedal power supplies are superb. On an old set-up I had 10+ pedals and the differance from going from 2 DC cheap bricks (£30 each) to a TREX Fuel tank was huge. It was akin to upgrading all my patch cables again.
Thanks for that. I've thought about getting one of those TRex power supplies for a while and thats just made up my mind.

  8. Hi

I could do with some advice from those more technologically minded than myself.

I use several pedals in my current setup, one of which being the TRex Bass Juice. I love it but when i activate it there is a prominent buzzing. Obviously this isn't a problem when i playing as it's drowned in the sound but it's quite annoying. Has anyone encountered this on their travels and if so what can i do to sort it??

I only use a single power supply with daisy chain to power all the pedals. Might the Bass Juice require a supply of its own??

Anyway, would be great if someone could help out.

    Thanks
