Whilst I wait for my programmable helicopter to arrive in the post another vague question has floated into what I laughably refer to as my mind... have any of you folks ever transplanted the guts of an Ashdown stomp box into a smaller more board-friendly enclosure?
I traced a JLO HyperDrive and used a 125B enclosure:

I've been waiting for you to do this for years!!
I don't suppose you have an additional pcb you want to sell?Unfortunately not at the moment. I would like to change the PCB a little because there are one...two errors. Maybe then...

Woah - awesome! One of my favorite pieces in the studio. I like how you did the channel select - really makes sense. How does it sound?
I used the original factory schematics 1:1, also for the switching.
I compared the copy with the original. They sound the same to my ears.

Acoustic 360 preamp:
First I tried the viva-analog Version, but I dont like it. The assembly instructions are not easy to understand and also contain errors.
The potentiometer layout is terrible and looks amateurish.
So I used the Factory schematics and designed my own PCB layout. I kept the blend function.- 4

Is that a heat sink bolted to the board near the LED/foot switch? Is this your own layout?
The heatsink is bolted to the voltage regulator of the tube heater. According to the data sheet, no heatsink needs to be used. But I do. The voltage regulator gets very hot.
I created the layout for the pcb. I used the factory schematics.

What is the fault?
Capacitor and diodes polarity correct? ICs plugged in correctly?

Being able to blend the 2 channels with full control over the relative volumes makes this one of the most successful dirt machines I've heard for bass. Amazing on synth as well - to be able to EQ each channel and then blend to taste: 1 saturated and round, one edgy and distorted - mmm, makes me want to get up and go to the studio right now!I created two different versions of the pcb. Version 1 is only a single channel-version, version 2 is a dual channel-version.
How important is the limiter? Should both channels be switchable?

There's no DIY Pearce unfortunately - i breadboarded it a few years ago but I could never get it to sound quite right.
I made a PCB, but haven't set it up and tested it yet...
