	Much as it pains me to offer this bass for sale, I need to continue thinning out the herd. As I have two Precisions, it's a numbers thing and this one I'm afraid has to go <span class="ipsEmoji">🫤</span>. I'm sure fellow lefties will understand that it takes time to find a good lefty bass, and even longer to find a really good one. This Fender Player is a really good one and has been my go to bass for the last few years. IMHO, this bass just wants to be played. It's a MIM of course, polar white with minty pick guard and maple neck. It weighs in at just around 3.9kg. Everything is fender player original, i've never seen any reason to upgrade any of the hardware or electrics. It's in excellent condition with no scrapes or dings. It's strung currently with Ernie Ball stainless flats in 100 guage. It plays fast and smooth, and has a fairly powerful pickup. Classic p-bass tones by the shed load, and it sits well in a band mix and as a recording instrument. Everything works as it should, tuners, electrics and truss rod. I don't have a case for it and would rather not ship it anywhere either. Interested parties are welcome to come and give it a go in person, tea and biscuits provided. Thanks for reading my ad.

<p>
	Midnight Blue MIM Standard Jazz made in 1999. Nice colour and well looked after ....no major dings I could see.....just needs a quick set up and it will be good to go. It's been sat in our dry, clean 'ish' rehearsal room for a few years and needs a new home.

	At the moment it's collection from south Manchester but could travel 20 max 30 minutes for a meet up if required.

<p>
	Priced to sell.
</p>

<p>
	Mint, case, documents. No trades.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Up for sale is 2010 Limited Edition Left Handed Warwick Corvette. A stunning example.
</p>

<p>
	Excellent &amp; in mint condition. One previous owner, who appeared to have hardly played it. I purchased it in c.2018/19 and have only played it a handful of times. It has lived 99% of its time in the case.
</p>

<p>
	I am a guitarist and occasionally dip into bass - I thought I would play more but life got in the way. And that is not to even open up my journey into left-handed guitar playing - I am a lefty who has played righty since aged 12. For various reasons, I went all out for a few years and taught myself to play lefty. This purchase was part of that journey. Long story short my "experiment" failed and I have resorted to playing right-handed again. Hence, sadly, selling this wonderful instrument.
</p>

<p>
	Neck, set up, action, playability, feel are all superb. And sound versatility, wow! There are just loads of options.
</p>

<p>
	This is a real example of beautiful luthier workmanship with absolute top tier materials and hardware.
</p>

<p>
	Lovely to hold and play sitting or standing. A real eye catcher!
</p>

<p>
	Condition is as photohraphed. I have tried to detail every angle. All electronics work 100%.
</p>

<p>
	Blurb / Description.
</p>

<p>
	It was constructed with light weight Ash body topped with nicely figured Ziricote and 4 pcs maple + Ekanga veneer neck thru body module with maple fingerboard and block inlays. The overall weight is less than 10 pounds. The neck profile is relatively slim when comparing to other Warwick makes this limited corvette more enjoyable to play.
</p>

<p>
	Warwick described this Ltd edition Corvette as “it has Fender Jazz written all over it”. It sports a pair of twin single-coil J-style pickups, two 3-way coil selection mini-toggles (single/humbucker/parallel), active MEC electronic (which can be bypassed via the push/pull volume knob), master volume, pickup balance knob, 3 band EQ that boost or cut the treble, mid and bass. This is one of the most versatile bass designed by Warwick.
</p>

<p>
	Other features: Just-a-nut III, Strap locks, COA, Warwick care kit and a non-original hard case that fits the bass like a glove.
</p>

<p>
	Warwick only made 300 of this worldwide including both 4- and 5- stringers. This is #121 and was engraved by laser at the back of the headstock.  To make it even more collectible, this bass was hand signed by the president of Warwick, Hans-Peter Wilfer. Grab this before someone does!!!

	I have listed this on Reverb at £850 and got some interest but would prefer a sale here. Make an offer of interested.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Just putting out a feeler because new kitchens are more expensive than you think...
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I recently got this bass with the intent to use it in my 80s band. It's brilliant and it's rare and it's been made even better! It's a factory fretless, I've added a Nordstrand MM pup and a Retrovibe Stinger pre, as well as having a new nut fitted. It's wearing flat wounds and it's had a very recent full setup.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Realistically I just don't need a second fretless, I barely play the first one and that is staying with me forever.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	If anyone is interested please drop me a line. Price is negotiable, just had to put a number in there.

	Hi,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I'm selling my Steinberger Spirit XT-2 Left Handed bass, bought new in 2020, together with 3 new sets of double-ball end strings (2 x Steinberger SST-109, 1 x LaBella S100S - aside from the set of Elites that are already mounted on the bass - that roughly equates to £90-100), an Ernie Ball black strap and and its original gigbag.
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	The bass is in really good conditions and works perfectly.
</p>

<p>
	It has a really good sound for its price range, with an incredible sustain and good definition.
</p>

<p>
	All strings sound quite balanced, with a good low-end.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Worth noticing that I made a few changes to it:
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		As soon as I bought it, I had a professional guitar/bass technician install a linear tone pot, as the one that came with the bass had a really weird response
	</li>
	<li>
		I sanded the neck a little bit, as it was really glossy and a bit sticky (see pictures)
	</li>
	<li>
		I installed an extension on its back (using 2 short brackets) to extend the strap button, so that when standing the bass sits similar to how a standard Fender/MusicMan/etc. bass sits. This required to drill a small hole on the bass back (see pictures) and left a few marks on its back next to where the original strap button is (see pictures). This would be really easy to remove with just a screwdriver.
	</li>
	<li>
		When first bought, the tuning machines where really stiff, so I opened them, got rid of the springs (that I still have and will provide with the bass - see pictures) and applied a lubricant to make them work well. They are now really smooth and hold the tuning really well
	</li>
	<li>
		Tuning machines have a few scratches (see pictures)<br />

	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	Happy to meet with anybody in the area to try the bass out.<br />
	<br />
	Can ship if necessary (mainland UK). Shipment costs to be added.
</p>

	I've been mulling over this sale for quite a while now however it feels the time to put this bass out there to see if there is a new lefty owner who will  appreciate it and hopefully play it more than I have in recent times. It's an original "original series" bass, built in the Overwater factory when they were based in Haltwhistle in the early 1980s. I've owned it from new and it has always been well looked after and well maintained. History wise, it was gigged regularly back in the late 1980s and early 1990s but for the rest of its life it's been a case queen, only coming out once or twice a year to do a gig and make sure it was ok. Last time it was gigged was earlier this year and it still plays as fantastically as ever. It's constructed of old school Brazilian mahogany, has a transluscent tint blue maple stripe top with matching heastock. Its a neck thru design and has a bound ebony fingerboard.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The frets are in excellent condition and it still has its original graduated fretting system. I think this was a unique feature on Overwater basses at the time. Hardware is the real deal Schaller chrome made in Germany and it all works as good as new. Straps locks, again Schaller were fitted as standard. Pickups are moulded resin Kent Armstrong soapbars. All original. The bass was originally configured as a passive instrument with VTT and a five position pick up selector. It's very basic but works well. The rear cavity was originally cut to allow fitting of an active circuit at a later date but I never followed up on that option. Currently strung with D'Addario rounds, 100 guage. It plays very fast and low, and has a super slim neck profile. It's also a very long bass despite being a 34' scale instrument.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	It comes with its original Overwater wooden case. There were two options at the time, a made to order oversize wooden case, or a full tour spec made to order aluminium flight case. The case has a few bumps and scrapes from use but is in sound condition and does its job well. Last the bass was weighed i'm sure it was around 4.7kg or there abouts. Nut width is jazz bass dimensions. Overall condition is very good to excellent. There is a light laquer scratch on the rear cutaway, same on the top edge, and one small laquer dent near the input jack on the bottom edge. All very small and difficult to notice.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I'm reluctant to post or courier this bass however I may consider a meet up if its a reasonable driving distance from Central Scotland. Interested bass chatters are welcome to come and give it a go and i'll make sure the kettle is primed and biscuits are available. The blue strap in the photo is included. Price wise I have no real idea what these are worth nowadays as its very few and far between that they show up for sale. Lefties are even more scarce.  I'm asking £1295 for this one and would be happy with that price. Not looking for trades or swaps unless you own a Fender Jazz serial no. S830880 that you are planning on selling. Thank for reading my ad. Any questions, please PM me and I'll do my best to answer.

	Hello,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I’m selling a 2007 American Series Fender P Bass, complete with its original G&amp;G hardcase.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Fender’s serial number check dates it to April 2007. Really nice three tone sunburst, rosewood board, alder body, the S-1 switch on the volume knob, strung through body or top loaded. <br />

</p>

<p>
	Weighs a smidge over 4kg (4.07kg).<br />
	<br />
	I bought it from the original owner and it’s clearly been well cared for. It’s really clean and in lovely condition with minimal fretwear and only a handful of small marks here and there as you’d expect from an 18 year old working instrument.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I’ve tried to photograph them as best I can.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Neck is straight, action medium/low at the moment with plenty of room to go lower.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Currently strung with brand new D’addario EXL165 strings, gauge 45-105. <br />

</p>

<p>
	Would much prefer collection or meet up to try before you buy. There’s plenty of tea, biscuits and a Markbass rig to try it through here.
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	G&amp;G case is in good used condition - few small scrapes etc on the outside as expected, being a case and all that.
</p>

<p>
	No keys but the locks and catches work smoothly.
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	Alas I’m a right handed player and I bought this on a bit of a whim with a view to possibly getting the nut re-cut for right handed stringing, but circumstances and my plans have changed and I can’t justify yet another bass so it remains in its original configuration.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Im near the Leicestershire / Northamptonshire border but I travel into Leicester and Derby fairly frequently so that’s an option.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	NOW WITHDRAWN
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Any questions feel free to give me a shout. <br />

</p>

<p>
	Cheers.
</p>

<p>

	Strung with Status tapewound strings and includes Ritter gig bag.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Nut is slightly chipped at E string but perfectly playable as is.
</p>

<p>

<p>
	Electronics work fine.

</p>

<p>
	I have something very special in my possesion that I have for sale.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	It's a lefty 1978 fender precision bass, all completely original with original case and labels booklets, even the original key.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The bass was owned by Ed cosens who was the bass player for reverend and the makers. He owned it for 20 years, and bought from wunjo guitars around 2005.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	 It was used to record the album "state of things" and all his solo stuff. Toured all over the world with it. Played it at Wembley with Oasis and kasabian. It's been on jonathan Ross, jools holland, v festival and loads of others. I have photos of him playing it, its on loads of YouTube videos, I even have a video of him playing it for me before sending it to me, aswell as a letter from him.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	 It's even got the same strings on it from when he bought it 20 years ago, which means they are the very same strings that recorded the albums.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Weight is 3.8 kilos, amazing for a 78.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	It was something I planned to keep forever, as it's not often you see such a story connected to a bass, but being a lefty bass it is super weird to play, I was going to reverse string it, but it seems such a shame to do that.
</p>

	Very nice bass but surplus to requirements. An unusual colour for us leftys', Electron Blue. 2007, Alder body, Rosewood on Maple neck. Original pickups but the bridge gave way so I replaced it with a high mass one.
</p>

<p>
	I have a white pearloid scratchplate that came with it included. Not my cuppa! Great sounding, I used it mainly for a Paul Rodgers Trib and the bridge pickup is smooth and tight for those lines.
</p>

<p>
	All in all it's a rare thing and hope someone wants to look after it. I will include a Hiscox case for safe travels.
</p>

<p>
	Had it on ebay and I thought I'd sold it but the guy was very strange and hasn't followed through on the bid. Beware the 0 feedback rating!
</p>

<p>
	I would consider a trade for a Fender Precision (only) of equal quality , ie Player models or Mexican (If thats allowed)
</p>

<p>
	Thanks, Paul

	Here's something with potential...
</p>

<p>
	I suspect this was a kit bass, I acquired it second hand and it was in a bit of a state. Work I have done:
</p>

<p>
	Vinyl wrapping with carbon fibre effect wrap;
</p>

<p>
	Fingerboard treatment - it actually looks pretty nice now;
</p>

<p>
	Copper taping to shield the insides;
</p>

<p>
	Very thorough cleaning of all parts.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	This was a project I decided to do but ran out of steam. Note this was probably a kit bass so you're not buying Fender US quality, and the vinyl wrapping has some rough parts, being my first attempt at ever doing this. As well as the body in the photo the buyer gets:
</p>

<p>
	Squier PJ pickups;
</p>

<p>
	Harley Benton jazz bass wiring loom;
</p>

<p>
	The bridge on the bass right now AND individual bridge pieces in black;
</p>

<p>
	Strap pins;
</p>

<p>
	More vinyl wrap;
</p>

<p>
	Control cover for the back of the bass
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Local pickup always best but will happily remove the neck to ship within the UK.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Any questions, go ahead!
</p>

	SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Ok so this is a BC exclusive offer/ feeler...
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I really, really like this bass. I just already have another fretless so it's a bit silly having two. Thomann don't seem to have these available any longer, sadly.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Bought in November 2022. This is a great, lightweight HB bass that I have done a few gigs with and it holds it's own. Before selling I can put the black pup cover back on and will return the knobs to the originals. But it's not quite a stock bass...
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I took the wiring loom out to drop it into a project bass, this now has the famed Kiogon loom. In making that change I bought a new Hosco bell plate (£18.99) which I will leave on the bass too. I also fitted a Gotoh bridge (£38.55) because I wanted to donate the HB original to a project. No other mods, though the fretboard has had a good treatment of Monty's wax as I have only ever used round wounds on this bass.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I'd prefer local pickup but can ship it.
</p>

	Had this since December-ish I think. Really, really great bass but I'm just overloaded at the moment. Description below... This is listed elsewhere but as ever I prefer a BC deal. This is sort of a feeler as I don't really want to sell it but I'm just being sensible at the moment...
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Left handed Japan made Fender jazz bass, US 75 reissue. This means it has an alder body, not basswood, and US made pickups and hardware, three bolt neck fitting with micro tilt, binding and blocks on the neck. I'd never seen a lefty this colour before. It plays absolutely beautifully. Small crack in the back of the neck has been professionally repaired (see photo).
</p>

<p>
	No case or strap included. If you want this shipped in a hard case contact me, I can sell a hard case too.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	**It has a S02 serial number so I'm guessing it's from 2002.
</p>
