  1. Past hour
  2. (everything you would need to make the above except wire, solder, time and stamps. Knobs probably different style. Enclosure could be drilled for you too)
  3. Great experience selling to @PatrickJCommunication was clear and payment was quick. Highly recommend him as a buyer. Thanks, @PatrickJ!
  4. I picked up a tuner from @jacq this week. It was put in the post the day I transferred the funds and arrived 2 days later. It was extremely well packaged and the pedal is as new condition. He was also kind enough to provide the original invoice so I can register it for warranty purposes. I would not hesitate in dealing with @jacqagain. Thanks very much!
  5. As was House of the Holy, IIRC. Physical Graffiti had just been released.
  6. Used it again this week, with just the pjb flight-case (no pb300) with the amps high mids and high EQ cranked up. Sounded good from where I stood. I didn't bother fitting the sound clamp. Hard to separate the different sound of the pickup from the different sound of this rental bass, but it's a mellow one and maybe not totally suited to a copperhead. But the copperhead has a good tone with lots of fundamental and a nice high output. Could be excellent on a brighter bass ( eg my own bass ).
  7. I doubt there are much better basses than the import Laklands for the price. I am hugely impressed. GLWTS

    Hello

Not yet, but there's always tomorrow!
  9. The behringer P2 and its rivals are designed to take line level outputs from a mixer, so your bass may not have a strong enough signal to give you enough volume, especially if it is passive. A cheap used mixer (2-3 channels) and a basic microphone would allow you to mix ambient sound and/or PA sound with your bass and would give you a headphone feed. When you decide what mix works for you, you can buy the gear you need and sell the mixer on, or you can use it for silent practice at home. David
  10. Best necks on a bass ever ever
  11. Hehe, it's 5.3kg on my bathroom scale. Feels heavy in the hand, but not that heavy on a strap. I wouldnt recommend getting hit in the head with it tho..😂
  12. I would love this, I have wanted one since I first saw one in a book. Sadly it's way out of my budget, but I hope you find a buyer soon. GLWTS.
  13. Bloopdad1---I did not know what blockless meant. So did a search and appears to be where the neck meets the shoulders. See pics below: Does this help?
  14. I don't quite understand why they've straight chamfered the edges either. It immediately looked odd to me. It can't be as comfortable as a curve and any dings on there will really show
  15. Today
  16. Bump getting traded in on Monday unless anyone on here wants it before then.
  17. I've just had my Sei Flamboyant 5 headless refretted by Andy Morrish at Andy Charles Guitars in Halesowen: https://www.andycharlesguitars.com/ Did a nice job, also made a new nut (it appears that it once had a zero fret which had some sort of mishap and had been replaced with a nut). The action is lower than I've ever been able to get it with no buzzes. He also rubbed down the back of the neck a bit as it was a bit dinted from before I got it, and it's now a lot smoother.
  18. It really is a very comfortable bass to gig. I just need to move it on to fund an EUB.
