I really expected more from the Venture range. The PFs had nice tone but for me still lacked that mystery special sauce that I only get with heavy amps. My old SVT200 absolutely decimated the PF800 I owned briefly for volume! As such, won’t be throwing any more money at this tech until there’s a fundamental change.

Bought this very recently from Bass Direct whose pics and write I have shamelessly stolen (`Hope you don’t ming Mark!) it’s a great amp and stupidly loud but not quite the sound in my head right now. I have fitted a full set of brand new JJ valves 3 x ECC83 1x ECC81 The Price includes UK postage or Local delivery. Heres all the in-depth stuff The TTE 801 Randy Jackson signature is the amp of choice for those who want a warm vintage tone with stadium-rocking power. As with the 500W version, the TTE 801's vintage vibe was carefully engineered with features such as an classic-style tube preamp, a tube compressor, a simple 3-band passive EQ section, a “Colour” filter (a tubeadaptation of the famous Markbass VLE control), but gets amplified by a potent 800W power amp that features our innovative Tube Technology Emulator, giving even more tubey warmth. Current technology is brought together with classic tone concepts in a head that looks and sounds vintage—but features some special adaptations of the Markbass innovations that put the brand on the map! The TUBE HEART of the TTE 801 makes this head an incomparable vintage sounding amp!!! But there's no better way to understand “Modern Vintage” than to plug in the amps and let the tone explains itself! This amp is presented in fantastic condition with a gig bag included. PREAMP PREAMP: Tube TUBES: 3x ECC83 + 1x ECC81 (compressor) POWER AMP POWER AMP: TTE (Tube Technology Emulator) POWER: 800W RMS @ 4 ohms / 500W RMS @ 8 ohms EQ (passive) BASS MIDDLE HIGH CONTROLS COMPRESSOR COLOUR (TUBE-DRIVEN VLE) OUTPUTS LINE OUT: balanced XLR, max. voltage 20 Vpp SPEAKER OUT: two speakon/1/4" combo OTHER WEIGHT: 14.11 lbs / 6.4 Kg WIDTH: 18.90 in. / 48 cm DEPTH: 10.24 in. / 26 cm HEIGHT: 7.87 in. / 20 cm POWER REQUIREMENT: 100/120V; 230V; 240V -

Bought an MXR Deluxe Chorus pedal from Shaun. The pedal arrived super quick, was well packaged and exactly as described. Great communication as well, he's a top guy to deal with. Really happy with the pedal, it's way more flexible and noise free compared to my old EHX Bass Clone. Cheers Shaun 😁

Apologies, it is an L6H. Although it looks like the non-H would be the EP1-L6? -

Year started playing: 1976 Number of basses: Quite a few, but I don't know how many Music theory: Clueless Technique: Either 10 or 0, or somewhere in-between Groove: Dunno what that is - does lead bass count?

I have both fretted and a fretless, but I rarely play the fretless. I can see why people love the fretless but it's just not for me for the most part.
