Raising cash so up for sale is IMHO one of the finest tracking octavers available for bass (and i cant bring muself to sell my OC2) It has two distinct octave voices a Growl which replicates the toothy synth tone of an OC2 and a Girth which is smooth and deep like an EBS octabass/octamizer. You can get subtle variations from mixing the two. It also has a switchable mid boost/cut on the clean tone which can be adjusted internally, very handy. Usual small MXR enclosure with fantastic build quality. Its in great condition and a beautiful deep blue sparkle. No box, but will be well packed. This does Not have the noise issues associayed with the early versions) (Note- the A sticker will be removed and cleaned, ive a two channel setup and kept mixing them up 🤣) £80 incl UK only delivery -

Fantastic Chorus/Flanger so effectively two pedals in one. Fully Analog utilising bucket brigade technology for warm vintage Chorus tones. Also feature a 2 band EQ so you can go from warm lush to shimmering modern sounds. It also has a switchable crossover so the effect can be applied only to the high frequencies (like the old Boss Bass chorus) leaving the bottom end nice and clean (a subtle but lovely sound) or a full range chorus sound for extra thickness. A button activates the Flanger mode which is my favourite, totally gives you that wide spacey Anthony Jackson tone. Definately a favourite pedal, but I do use Phaser a lot more. It's also a very cool Aqua colour, what's not to love. Its in reasonable condition, with a few chips in the finish, Im not sure if i have the original box,but will be very well packed. £95 incl Uk only delivery -

Im about to move into a new flat and basically need everything 🤣 so a few odds and ends will find their way up for sale. This is a fantastic pedal, a licensed version of the vaunted Bugbrand bugcrusher which is very expensive. Its a sample rate reducer with clean blend and one of the most musical ive ever tried. It took me ages to find one used, but i lterally use it on two tunes with a band that rarely gigs, so up it goes. Its in fantastic condition with a lovely sparkly silver finish, its got velcro on the bottom, no box unfortunately. £95 incl UK only delivery -
I'm not so sure about that. It is kinda like 'Need Your Love So Bad' (for example), but not quite. You would need to finesse it a bit from the way the OP describes to get it to work (of course, that might be what he means, but didn't quite express it correctly / how I understood it).

I think it depends on exactly what you mean. I've just tried to play through what your suggesting and I'm not entirely convinced. I'm sure that if you are playing as a three piece with the guitarist playing a solo, then you could probably make it work. If you have a keys player or another guitar player, then you would most likely need to tip them the wink on what you are intending to do, to ensure that they can follow.

I have two Sabre Classic pickguards for sale. These are for the 2013-2016 reissues. Not sure whether they will fit a pre EB or 80's EB Sabre. Blue abalone, ordered from Armstrong guitars. I think this was on the cusp of them stopping using WD as there was a delay in getting it when they switched supplier Blue mirror is from Pickguards.com/WD Both have a bit of playwear but perfectly usable £35 the pair + postage-

Yes, the WD-800 will fit, but because it's 2" less deep you may need to fabricate some hardware. The width and height are identical and they share the same rack ears as well (the current WD rack kit mounting holes are slightly smaller than the old Walkabout, but can easily modified to work with either the WA or WD). The specific caution is because the WD is a lot more powerful than the original WA, I would recommend ONLY using it with the 8 ohm version of the cabinet, and set the amp to 2 ohm mode to scale down the power to 300 watts into 8 ohms (still more than the cabinet can handle but with the HPF set to about 40-50Hz, and the damping set to high, you should be ok).

Like with any other mute, you need to check the tune. Even the sponge under the strings slightly changes a tune. Nothing that a regular tuner can't fix in a second. -

Well, Gareth, it will take a few weeks or months to feel you are no longer playing patterns, at least for me it will. I like to just doodle with them sometimes, getting into a groove, following my instincts, no backing track or chord chart. I’m stuck around the V7b9 pages, but enjoying it still. One thing that might derail me is getting a new viola da gamba, or bass viol, in a couple of weeks. That’s bound to take most of my attention. I’ve been waiting for it for months. That and the bass will be my main instruments going forward. - Today
