Thanks for the interest, this is on hold pending pickup. To answer your question the balance on these is great seated and on a strap, the whole bass is very compact, so balances well, and it is an easy reach to the low frets.

I don't need another 4-string Yamaha. But I'm tempted. Good luck with the sale!
