  1. Past hour
  2. For someone who can't be bothered with clickbait internet personality crap you seem to be getting very get up over it 😏 @SimonK The answer to your original question seems to be A) he's OK B) I quite like him C) I despise him with every fibre of my mortal being. Which seems to me is most opinions on the internet these days.
  3. Bought a CD from me In an instantly satisfying transaction. Recommended!
  4. Didn't get a helpful reply. They told me to contact a UK supplier but i bought a set of various size metric ones and its an M3 diameter and only about 4mm long if that helps. Failing that and you still haven't managed to get one send me your details and i'll pop one in the post to you as i now have a few spares. Dave
  5. A FX loop with octave and a little overdrive?
  6. Not really my thing but he seems like a decent sort. What little I have watched he has a marmite kind of humour that I find amusing. Not sure about the claims that he’s not much of a bass player. He’s exactly the kind of bass player I like.
  7. I Can’t Stand The Rain - Tina Turner
  8. Not for me, I’ve got plenty… but for my bass sound. I play in an Americana/blues/gospel band. Bass, drums, guitar, sax, singer with harmonica. There are a couple of songs we’re working up where the guitarist is playing trumpet. (No, not Ring of Fire!) When he does, the body of the band sound tends to drop out. The sax can cover some, but I wonder if I could fill out a little more of the space. I play a P-Bass with LaBella flats through Little Mark and Barefaced, and I don’t want to meddle with the basic sound. I currently use no pedals – I try to avoid any complexity and adding stuff that increases the chance of some kind of systems failure. But is there a pedal than can ‘flesh the sound out a little’? Only a little mind you – I’ve tried a couple of fuzz pedals and hated them. But if there was something that gave a little more grit and body, that might be useful. Any thoughts from the collective? I know very little about pedals so be gentle with me… Cheers, Graham
  9. That was a fairly conventional set of mods when I was younger.
  10. Agreed Mick, Whilst the SMX series added some useful bells and whistles such as compression and a blendable valve/solid state preamp, the Series 6 has a certain immediate clarity with clout never bettered by Trace Elliot.
  11. This is already a bargain - I paid £165 for mine second-hand and was glad to find one at that price.
  12. Not really playing this so up for sale again 👍
  13. Courier is an option for the head. Tradewise I'm always interested in Fenders of one sort or another 👍
  14. Well, I didn't use all capitals at least. I'm sure Sapko is a nice guy if you met him. I just can't be bothered with clickbait internet personality crap, so I don't watch it.
  15. Thanks for all the advice chaps. There is so much choice out there and no shops around where I live to try things out so I guess I'll just watch other bands that come past and see if there is a tone I like and maybe bite the bullet. For the time being I wont be adding a second cab. Thanks once again
  16. ...he says shouting on the internet 🙂 !!!
  17. So important to do the things you want to do together - I have the reverse situation, I am 67, other half is 55. She is going to get out this year, we have things to do I just describe myself as a 'man of leisure' although I have had plenty of work from when I made myself redundant and took early retirement.
  18. High Fade-tastic! 😎
  19. MXR Synth. It’s all I have bought this year. 😂 but was well worth the money.
  20. Price Drop To £300
  21. Anything expected from Santa that's accidentally arrived early and turned out to be great?
  22. Little end of year Dec bump, to see if we can get to discover a few more of our BC'er bands!
