Yes, his first bass was a left handed Watkins Rapier. It was stolen but when they got their contract he switched to right handed jazz basses which he had switched around and repainted that grey colour.

She plays better bass than me whilst riding a unicycle (see YouTube) And now I see that she is even more talented than I thought. What’s not to like ? -
Another moment of madness, never mind. A November '63 Jazz. Refin at some point in early '70s. I believe it could have been CAR originally. Apart from that all looks good. I had it taken apart to confirm (photos to follow later on this week). Rusty strings, frets aren't great, sounds superb plus some provenance.

The grille on the Ashdown 1x15 cab I used to own was held on with velcro and could be prized away from the baffle with a screwdriver. Even if you're only using the Rumble as a power amp and cab', I'd still be surprised if it will be much of an improvement on what you already have. I'd question whether the BF 1x10, whilst very loud for its size, would do the job for you. A single 10, no matter how capable, just won't shift enough air to be adequate in a rock band. It'll be expensive to find out, too.

Aye, should have one out in the shed 🙂 The 'Brian Pillans' @neepheid mentioned used the PG from my T-40 to make his master template so if I'm talking mince about the shed he's your man 👍 -
Aye aye, politics and stuff *handwaves*. But are you any good, like at fitba or rugby? Let's get down to the real issues here

Loved 10cc back in the day. The performance from what is the current GG band was excellent. Scarborough Spa theater early this year 👍

Bass not cutting through? Loudness could be the answer

This is one of those things that I don't get why modelling platforms haven't implemented a solution for. Like in theory it seems pretty simple at a digital level to create eq that matches the fletcher-munson curves with a single control for level that adjusts through the levels so that you can setup patches at room volume and then turn the curve down when playing at practice or gig volume. -

I would just like to point out that technically speaking I am Scottish. I could actually play for the national team and claim residence after independence. Regardless of that, I am quite happy to subsidise methadone and deep fried Mars Bars for some time yet, just so long as I don't have to listen to Runrig ever again. 🙂 The reason I mention Scotland is that in recent history they have made a point of passing some "progressive" legislation that the rest of the UK would not dare even contemplate, ie student finances ect. In light of that, I could see this scheme appealing to Scottish politicians aiming to boost what I believe they nowadays call "soft power", ie the idea that Wet Wet Wet et al enhance Scotland's international profile and influence. Personally, I'm sceptical, but I suppose you never know.

Practically new TrueTone OneSpot CS6 power supply complete with all cables and boxed. I Bought this a few weeks ago only for the project I’d bought it for to fall apart literally a week later. Have sold nearly all of the pedals now and am moving this on as I have no need of it. It has been used at one rehearsal and for a few hours at home. No trades thanks. Price includes shipping to locations within the UK. I took the photos myself and I am blind, so my apologies if they look like they were taken by a drunk person.

I understand your point of view as I've been playing the 4 same pieces since September to get them perfectly: That bloody Rondo alla Turca has been driving me mad, but I got it... Tuesday is my lesson day and we'll move to a new piece, certainly something by Bach. I practice one hour a day at the minimum, with great rigour, and it's paying a lot, but I'm not into grades anymore, only learning and playing for my own pleasure ... only pieces I like. And my tutor totally agrees.
