  2. For How much you Sell it ?
  3. I can't believe you still have this! If I didn't already have a 500 I'd bite your hand off. A bargain awaits someone... GLWTS
  4. Been offered £1600 as a trade in so ideally looking to beat that before i go ahead?
  5. I've used a Comfort Strapp for many years and wouldn't use anything else. Thick neoprene padding and elasticated, it absorbs every shock and really spreads the weight of any bass. Just check the length, because you'll probably want long, if not extra long unless you like a bass under your chin
  6. Thank you for the votes. I got lucky this time. See you all for the next round. I was inspired recently when fishing at a wonderful village called Olhos de Agua on the Algarve. I took a photo and think it would be very suitable to inspire us again to create. te he.
  7. Next question please...
  8. I'm not a classical guitarist. However I do love noodling on a nylon strung acoustic. Many years ago we bought my son a classical guitar, which he barely played but I loved. He took it away to university. After missing it for 12 months or so I've finally treated myself. It's only a cheap one - a Martinez SM-80 that I picked from Ebay. It's a few years old but I don't think it's really been out of the packaging. I've had it a week or two and have just this evening fitted a new set of strings (D'Addario Pro-Arté EJ-45). I rarely pick up a guitar at home normally but I've not been able to put this one down.

  10. I know what you mean. It is a pale blue but most pics make it look bordering on white. This was my bass outside in natural light which, from memory, is a fairly true representation of the colour.
  11. Analog cab simulation, very tweakable, includes adjustable HPF, EQ, it works as a headphone amp, and with TS and balanced XLR outputs. Great condition, just a bit dusty...
  12. Two channel digital delay, 4 modes (copy, analog, modulation and reverse delay), it can take a footswitch (not included) Great condition, home use only. Price includes UK postage. edit: not sure why the photograph doesn't show  so let's try this

  13. Nicely adjustable reverb pedal. Excellent condition, home use only.
  14. These are Absolutely fantastic , units I use one as a Tubescreamer , a RAT and a Big muff , this thing gives you all the benefit of " behaving like analog pedals with blend functionality but with the flexibility of pugging the thing in and swapping the "Pedal sim " for somthing else on the menu . A huge stable of options , And even the ability to switch it from " toggle to latch" for those ... i want my Fuzz in the Chorus only moments, So much versatility for the price , bargain.
  15. Many thanks for this! And lovely basses too! Looking to get the sonic blue one as it’s my fave colour just can’t decide yet as they always look white jn the pic or maybe its just the lighting.
  16. The Rumble 500 is great but a few years ago I bought one of these and I'm glad I did.
  17. What the f*** does a guitarist know about anything? I don’t know why you, someone smart enough to play bass, would even listen to someone struggling to get beyond baby-babble
  18. I don't really like 'bursts, but that looks great... GLWYS!
  19. Amazing - thanks! 7. I couldn't pick out the younger Mick Jagger from the pic and the drummer looked unfamiliar to me, but makes sense!
  20. A band i was in criticised my tone in a Deep Purple tribute because i didn't use a pick. I made it clear that's how i play and happy to step aside and let them get someone else. They decided it wasn't an issue after that. I eventually left that band with that issue being a small part of my reasoning. My current Glam band now 6yrs the guitarist once made that same comment that my tone didn't have enough attack and i should use a pick. I told him the same thing and once again he decided it wasn't that big an issue after all. He's now gone 3yrs ago and replaced with a guitarist that loves my style of playing and regularly compliments me after a gig. Him and the singer love it when i do the Steve Harris gallop tone in some songs and to be honest that's probably closest to how i prefer my tone but doesn't fit every Glam song and i have to reign it back a bit. Dave
  21. No, it’s richly deserved payback and thus carries a stamp of approval from God
  22. 1 - Elvis, no doubt at all. 7 - Rolling Stones (Gretsch bass drum, so...) 8 - The late Toby Keith 9 - I'd plump for Earl King ??? (pretty certain it's not BB King; he never played Strats...)
