  2. Sparkle In The Rain - Simple Minds
  3. New and unplayed, Ruf Records latest prodigy’s new release. Features Kingfish Ingham and Shemekia Copeland. Powerful stuff from someone who’s touring here in the autumn and should not be missed. £20 from Amazon, £10 posted UK here. NOW £8
  4. It could be a genuine request, and the buyer would be happy with a link to an unlisted YouTube video if it were. As @tauzero says it could be that they want your phone number.
  5. Fantastic US-published collection of interviews with top songwriters in all genres. There’s Brian Wilson, James Taylor and Paul Simon but also Chrissie Hynde, Patti Smith, Alice Cooper, Squeeze and Donald Fagen Plus many more… Book (a mammoth 658 pages) is in unread condition. £18 delivered UK - the ideal Xmas present. NOW £16 delivered! for!
  6. A lot of the acoustic players I've gigged with use AER amps. https://www.aer-music.de/
  7. It does mean I'll need to avoid doing a bass on the settee photo, as I wouldn't like to see a macassar-antimacassar reaction.
  8. I would suggest just using an instrument lead between guitar and mixer and then working out whether there's anything more that you need. Can't get much cheaper than that.
  9. Diamond Dogs - Bowie
  10. Shakespeare described it centuries ago: "It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

    Valeton GP-5

Haven't yet - on my list of things to do. From what I have read / watched though it looks pretty straight forward and i reckon I won't be doing much more than what @dave_bass5 is doing... turning stuff off and on and moving up and down patches...
  12. A perfect example of why I stopped going there 13 years ago. It's like watching the Gallaudet University Marching Band, led by Stevie Wonder as the Drum Major. 🤥
  13. Damn this sounds good with my maple/rounds P; I may just try to find a way to keep it.

  15. It may be a way to get in touch off Reverb as bypassing Reverb for a sale also means avoiding Reverb's fees - something that comes in handy if you see something on Reverb that's in Warwick or Leamington Spa, ie Bass Direct or Bass Bros, as it's cheaper going via the store.
  16. @BassYerbouti https://www.talkbass.com/threads/orange-sp212-need-feedback.1107186/ Interesting thread with input from some members that post here. it does descend into chaos by page 3 but there's some useful info.
  17. I have exactly the same combos and echo your comments 100%. The 100 is unbelievably light, the 500 still manageable and both are fabulous things!
  18. I've got three which are rather more expensive options - Nux Mighty Plug, Boss Katana Go gen 1, and Positive Grid Spark Neo. The Spark Neo is nice if headphone wires annoy you. The Mighty Plug and Katana Go let you use your own headphones - I think the sound quality on the Katana Go is a little better than the Nux but it's not a great difference. All three let you connect with Bluetooth to play along with your chosen music.
  19. Hey @Shaggy — I realise this is a super long shot, as this was posted months ago, but... Do you still have this case at all?
  20. can't see the harm in sending a vid, just be wary of suspicious follow ups, like paying via paypal, I never sold anything on Reverb so not sure what the procedure is
  21. I did some personalised LED lighting a few years ago. Maybe a bit of added decoration for the 8" cab...
