  5. Very well put together US-published book of in-depth interviews with guitarists based on a TV documentary. Refreshingly, not all are the usual suspects. Rarely seen here. 300 pages, very good condition. £13 posted UK. Now just £10
  6. That collection is absolutely perfect. Except for perhaps a flatwound Precision, I wouldn't add or get rid of a single bass there. Lovely.
  7. New and sealed Saving Grace CD and LP from the inimitable Mr Plant and pals. CD £10 posted LP £20 posted Together £25 posted. Keep one, give one as a Christmas present!
  8. I don’t suppose you fancy a swap for a DFAM?!
  9. Despite years of piano lessons and messing about on synths, I still don't want to play basslines on them - for some reason it just doesn't scratch the itch in the same way as playing them on bass guitar. Can never shake the feeling I'm pressing sprung switches, I don't feel the same connection. The FI VIP gives me that playing satisfaction, it's just more fun.
  10. The SC Precisions are an acquired taste but one that I've acquired, pickguard has to be off though
  11. I'm rained out of work today so it's going to be the big pedal board into the Ashdown CTM-300 very shortly Neighbours prepare yourselves
  12. Popped into Lidl on the way home from work and they had two left. I've been after these for ages, so I bought both of them!
  13. these are available in NZ but I'd like to try before buy maybe a Xmas present also are these pedals made in China but Warm Audio is a USA company?

  16. I got it from gear4music. Didn’t expect much on the weight because my previous bb435 was a bit hefty. But when I got it today, when I lifted the box, it felt empty. When I held the bass, it was surprisingly light! might have to have the frets rounded. A bit edgy for my taste, I’ve gotten used to my Dingwall SP.
  17. The Sovereign Pro 8-225 is the version of the 8-225 used in the Basschat 8" cabinet. It is a bit heavier than the non-pro version. It also has a flatter response. Ideal for use in the 8" cab if you need less treble. It has never been used, except to try it in an existing cabinet. Unfortunately, it did not fit. Will be sent in the original packing. You can compare the two speakers HERE.
  18. earlier overwater bass with two band eq, spoke to Chris at overwater a while ago and he said it was early 2000s a ,pre production (perception) its got a few light scrapes as seen in pics but nothing major . priced as above plus postage if needed . thanks, jimmy .

  19. This is a Fane Sovereign Pro 8-225. The cast aluminium version of the Fane Sovereign 8-225 used in the Easy 8" Cab Build Thread. It is slightly heavier and has a flatter response than the non-pro version. I bought this to fit into an old 8" PA cabinet, but it was a little too deep. It has had virtually no use. The foam was use when I was trying to fit the driver into my old cabinet. I will include a new strip of foam. The original 8-225 was selected, as its upper response makes up for the lack of a tweeter. However, if you prefer a flatter softer sound, this is the driver for you. Pro 8-225 Datasheet

  20. Good reason not to buy in my book.
  21. Whats local on facebook?... an Orange Crush, Baby Rumble...
  22. I had the stereo and sold it. Regretted it and bought the mono. It really is the Swiss Army knife of amp world. I’ve got a Markbass Evo 1 to try out at the moment which basically, has the Multiamp amps and effects but has two independent channels, which is exactly what I need. I think it’s what I’ve been looking for, for a long time 😁
