It did. I drove him to the hosptial a couple of times and it was great to be able to help and actually get some proper time with him and my sister - had a few laughs as we drove into UCLH and back. We lost him in August. Two teenage kids left behind. It's not been a great year for our family but they're strong and supported amazing friends - it's been incredible to see people pull together to get through.

Trying to find an accurate chord structure for this, without much success. One of the bands I am working with are doing it, but the chord structure I was given isn’t right, neither is anything I can find online. I can pretty much get to the solo, but the solo seems so random, and to me, makes no sense. If any has any tips or ideas I would be most grateful! Cheers Stuart

I wasn't there unfortunately. Although I prefer smaller venues in general, I quite like the O2. Easy to get to from where I am, the facilities are good and the accessibility is great for those who are disabled. The sound can be hit and miss, especially if you are sitting up in the gods, but live sound generally is patchy at best in all venues. I'm up for going @hiram.k.hackenbacker If you are.

What are you listening to right now?

Nice bit of crazed fusion from 1993, featuring Tuba Bass!! -
Last Christmas me and my partner came down with full-blown flu a couple of days before Christmas and we were unable to join my family. We knew it was my brother in law's last one (he was in the same situation as your brother) but we were both so unwell we coud not join them. We got to spend good time with them after but I hated missing that holiday with him. I hope you enjoy your Christmas.

It's not the pickguard. It's the body shape that's completely off.

I found the same with my Dingwall. The passive tone control is hugely useful too.

Double post.

Yeah, I do remember it has a Neve preamp. Personally, I've never played a Dingwall that I liked the sound of, though I grant his did sound better than the usual personality free, insipid tone Dingwalls usually have. Not massively though.

Vocal Microphones, what are you using?
Phil Starr replied to Phil Starr's topic in PA set up and use
Not at all, choice of mic is much more personal than choosing a bass. The Senny e945 is an excellent mic and I'd probably choose that if I didn't play bass whilst singing. My e935 is more forgiving and I'm loud enough that feedback is rarely an issue. Nothing wrong with EV or Audiotechnica either. All great choices. I've an old EV ND 757 which could be the best sounding mic I have but the plastic handle is decaying and held together with shrink wrap so stays at home. We are lucky to have such a wide range of choices of mic with some truly great mics in the £100-200 price bracket. -
My band 'Shreds.' (hardcore punk) are playing in London and Brighton this coming weekend! If you're around please drop by to check us out, and say 'hello'!

And I liked it! 🙂

My wee band that do a gig about every 12 months will be doing a big show in Glasgow next year. Movie themed rock covers.

I have officially joined the club. Here's my new (to me) 1985 BB1100S. My first Yamaha, first vintage bass and my first Japanese made bass and its really very nice. This is the one @Burns-bass shared the link for.

100% this, and I have been for a while. You can filter out what you want, and if Facebook fights back at any time there is usually an update reasonably quickly to stamp out any of their nonsense.
