p4ul started following Reverb buyer "offer" does it smell scammy to you?
-
Hello, selling a thing on reverb, just got an offer with a request for a video of the item to be sent over whatsapp.. seems like a scamy thing. but I am new to reverb. "Excuse me, could you send me a video of the product review via Watsap? I want to make sure that the product belongs to you, because I'm afraid of being caught by scammers. Watsap +44 738 909 8xxx" Anyone have any experience in scamland? is this just a gateway spoof to get me to loose my shirt and other items of clothing?

Search for phrase doesn't work properly
BigRedX replied to tauzero's question in Site Issues and Questions
Search has most definitely been broken by a recent update to the forum software. I've just done a search for "PRS". as well as PRS it also brings up results for PR and words starting with "pr" that have an s in them. This needs to get fixed ASAP, because I have been able to do a search for "PRS" in the past and only get results with the actual combination of letters PRS. -

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some bass strings, preferably 45-105 hex core, I’ve been a fan of Stainless steel round wounds. I was a big fan of DR DDT strings but the price of these are astronomical in my eyes. I got a deal on Warwick red label strings which I use for gigging purposes and last alright but will be heading to the studio in Jan so want to use some nice strings for then. I like strings that keep their zing and don’t dull down very quickly so any advice would be great. Cheers.

Linus27 started following LFSys and Barefaced Questions - Super Compact, Monaco and Monza?
-
I'm currently using a Barefaced Two10 which I have generally been very happy with in terms of size, weight and performance. However, the vintage flavour of the cab is not suiting what I play these days and I have for a while been looking at changing it for something that is cleaner, tighter and more articulate. I'm currently leaning towards the Barefaced Super Compact which I believe will tick the boxes for my needs but I am also curious about the LFSys Monaco and Monza. They all seem pretty similar in application from what I have read so far, so I am just looking for feedback from those who have more real world experience in these cabs than me. Is there much differences between the three cabs? What is the difference between the LFSys Monaco and Monza? Any pro's and cons between them all? I am currently using a 500w MarkBass Little Mark IV and play fretless. Many thanks for any input.

I don't know who originally made it but I've had it a couple of years and added a Thunderbird neck. It's had a Rickenbacker 5 string pickup, so will need re-routing for another shape. Has a KiOgan wiring loom and the cavities have copper conductive tape. Paint job - not good - Halfords finest put on too quickly and not sanded down. Top is finished with a vinyl wrap (which doesn't hide the paint inconsistencies underneath). Great if you want that 'Rat' look.

Don't overthink it. I left a band because people who knew my situation were too immature to recognise how it was affecting me mentally, even when I told them to cut me some slack. If you are not aware of things going on in his life that are preventing him from picking up the phone you can't temper your response accordingly. If he has always been rubbish with comms, that may be why A wants to get rid of him. If it's a new new thing then it probably needs a chat, or he will walk anyway.

I am a fan of the Boss Katana Go. A huge variety of excellent tones from the built in amp models and effects, and bluetooth connectivity means you can play along to songs from your phone wire-free. It can also act as a digital interface to a computer. It's a more expensive option but the sound quality and convenience make it worthwhile for me.
