DB5 started following Fender American Standard 2014 VGC £1050

Immaculate 2014 Fender American Standard Precision with the best spec of this series: lightweight tuners, custom shop pickups, etc. Weight 4.0kg. The condition is almost mint, just a slight rough edge on headstock. The previous owner (from the band Vomit) had a black pickguard fitted at the time of purchase from Thomann and left a colourful set of stickers on the case! I have the Thomann box for shipping. Set up by the Gallery with Slinky flats. Fender case and candy plus strap locks, which were fitted for a time. I've used it for a couple theatre shows with lots of positive comments but it's not getting played enough, hence the sale. Price £1050 plus courier or collect from East Finchley London N2.

If you know the notes of chords, you can walk. First you should learn two beat (two half notes per bar, I and V), and then four beat (quarters, play I I V III). Say you see a C7, you play C E G Bb (I III V VII upwards) or C Bb G E (I VII V III downwards). The next chord gives you the first note, and the position in the fretboard suggests the direction, up or down. Then you can modify the walk by octaves, triplets and other melodic, and rhythmic ideas. Do not forget two, and four beat here. Start with a slow version of Autumn leaves. Listen to it a couple of times. Find the chords and start playing. Make it slow, starting from two beat, and you'll amaze yourself.

For Sale is my Mesa TT800, which I’ve owned for a few years. It works great and sounds amazing, but needs must as I have the new Mesa BD800 inbound so I need to move this on to fund it. It will include a pulse 3u rack case and a power cable, as well as the original gig bag. Collection only from Wokingham.

Once it's cleaned up and working, it may be worth seeing if Davey Rimmer (Uriah Heep) is interested. I can put you in touch when the time comes.... -

I'm checking with the guy that used to spray Martin Simms stuff, he's going to take a look to see if he can improve it it's a poly finish and does look a bit rough, which might put people off. The actual bass was working fine (sounded great too) when he passed. It's difficult to value too -

Custom painted (printed) part bass-peacock context...

That looks great. How did you achieve the print? -
Recently acquired and cleaned and sorted by myself. Its a phenomenonal amp. So much power, but also so much tone shaping with the 3 presets, eq band eq, and eq tilt dial. Dual compressor which is very good. Mixable valve and solid state preamp. Fx in and out, with adjustable volume dial. Xlr out. Really is top notch, everything works perfectly. Also comes with original receipt and manual. Only selling as my van has been written of and my car is a 2 seater so I can't transport it, so I need to swap it or buy something I can fit in the car. Also comes with dolly trolley. Definitely a classic and collectors item. This is in great condition. If it doesn't sell, I'll just take the head out, rack it, and get 2 smaller cabs. Need the funds to buy a smaller modular rig, so not really up for swaps unless it's something like a squier 40th bass, sire bass etc. Collection Leyland Lancashire

Here is my new part bass I finished recently and which make me proud of: Warmoth body, Musikraft neck, nitro paint, Fralin splitcoil. The design, paintwork and the printing I did with the help of my wife. Enjoy it!

@basexperience looks both delighted and surprised to be surrounded by so many pedals! "These pedals are fantastic - and they are the same ones that I have at home! What are the odds of that?" I chatted a while, and was infected by his enthusiasm and passion for playing. And I was reminded that we play music, rather than work music! - Today

Modern Vintage MVJ4-66 Fretless in Olympic White in fantastic condition up for grabs. The bass has been fitted with some passive EMG's and it produces a really thick sound with excellent sustain. The roasted maple neck is an absolute beauty to look at and a joy to play. The bass has hipshot lollipop tuners, comes with a semi hard case and the chrome neck pickup cover. Collection from Margate or I can box it up if required.
