  1. Past hour
  2. I've got one. I use it with a 400+ and its magnificent. Proper American heavy metal from Buchanan, Indiana. It would perhaps be better, as others have said, to leave this fine machine untouched and sell it on as is? You could be making someones dreams come true. 😃
  3. This is such an underrated pedal. Love mine. Good luck with the sale.
  4. Mmmm.... Now that is a work of beauty. Lovely amounts of usage. No showroom queen (in a really good way), you'd have no issues using this. Thankfully I'm completely skint but that's a great looking bass.
  5. Just for s__ts and giggles, I'm going to give the Donner Pocket Go a whirl. Anyone else tried one?

  6. Dan bought my Fender AV II 66 Jazz Bass (i was sad to see it go). Really great guy to deal with. I hope you enjoy your new bass Dan!
  7. My current band - I'm in that "shall I stay or shall I go" phase. Over many weeks everyone bar me has openly said "I haven't learnt the new songs" - which is always an indicator no one is playing their part. The man who started the band (who found everyone) put an advert up in JMB offering his services after our first meet up (bad move I thought), then he said he wants someone else to do the rehersal bookings... there's more, all saying.. not really gonna happen methinks. Sometimes I wonder, it is best just to lay it out on the table "look guys I don't think this band is really going to happen" - in the past I've try not to be hasty, give a band the chance to evolve and develop, however with experience, as they have all folded it can only be a casual affair. We started off with a professional musician, he was really good, all the time I was thinking how long before he decides it's a waste of his time and leave, which he did. Always tricky decision.
  8. "I only told you to blow the bloody doors off...."
  9. I would second this. I used one at a practice room a couple of weeks ago (the 2x8") and it was astonishingly good for a tiny little combo with a five piece rock band. Kept up prety well. Also very light and easy to carry, which has to be a plus.
  10. @ceterais saying... "you can tell it's a valve amp, Chris, because I can even feel the heft all the way up here!"
  11. Pm’d
  12. This must go. Sensible offers accepted!
  13. I left Facebook over 10 years ago. It never really worked for me to just promote gigs. I did try sometimes, but because I rarely posted and probably didn't have the right people as "friends" it didn't seem to gain much traction. I sometimes thought that I should post some important life events on there, like passing my driving test, completing insurance qualifications, getting Grade 8 Classical Guitar, moving house etc. but couldn't bring myself to do it. It just felt narcissistic to me as I wondered why anyone should care. I'm not saying Facebook users are all narcissistic, but that it didn't really work for me as a means to share important things with people. I'd rather tell them in person or not at all. I also detested what many people would post on Facebook. Opposing political views that I don't care for, or attention seekers, or irrelevant and uninteresting information. I can't remember when I joined here, but I didn't start using it until quite a while after quitting Facebook. I much prefer it here.
  14. Digitally printed direct over the body: MOV_3133.mp4
  15. As seen on the London stage with Clapton this week! Deluxe edition - Played once, as new. Do You Get The Blues dates from 2001 - this is its anniversary reissue on CD with sleeve notes from the bluesmeister himself. Cameos by Lou Ann Barton and Double Trouble. Now £8 posted UK
  16. Brice Springsteen for the megafan. Concert tours in Europe since 1981. Signed copy. REP £24.99, yours for £12, posted UK. Now £10 posted
  17. Reissue priced at £40.99, yours (new, sealed) for £25 posted UK. Now £20 OMD’s 1985 album Crush, will be reissued for its 40th anniversary in October. The band’s sixth album features the singles ‘So In Love,’ and ‘Secret’, with the former reaching the top 30 of the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. The 2LP vinyl edition features seven unreleased tracks. Both formats include rare photos and comprehensive notes by journalist and author Jason Draper in conversation with Andy McCluskey. The 40th anniversary re-release of Crush has been a wonderful opportunity for us to re-assess the album. 1985 was a period of great intensity with constant touring and time pressure in the studio, but we created a powerful collection of songs and lyrical themes. In hindsight, we made a much better album than we knew at the time. Two hit singles ‘So in Love’ and ‘Secret’ remain live set constants to this day. ANDY MCCLUSKEY
  18. Today
  19. Excellent and slightly different in a very good way. Me like! (and I love a dark neck with no dots)
  20. Probably a question for Andy @agedhorse but in case anyone else has tried, is it possible to install a Mesa Subway head in a Walkabout combo cab? If so, I think I have a cunning plan
  21. When it happens to us it's usually a booking error. Somehow we booked a gig at the wrong venue. For example the crowd is expecting " Don't Stop Believing " and they get " Red House " lol Daryl
  22. These do not come up for sale very often, lovely unit 👍
  23. I like my V7 4-string and I‘ve had it for years. One slight nag, but by no means a deal-breaker, the controls are a bit faffy. My one had a stacked volume/passive tone pot, pick-up blend. Treble, stacked mid/sweep, bass, plus the switches. They all work fine, but on-the-fly tone changes take a little bit of practice.
  24. Hi, I haven't had these for long (I used to own both these pedals many years ago, but bought them for the second time recently), but a recent change in musical direction has now made these obsolete. I have about 700€ invested in these and I' m looking to get back 650€ for them which seems reasonable considering the ridiculous prices the seperate pedals go for these days. I'm selling to fund some new hardware and onboard pre-amp for my main axe, so I'm not interested in trades this time, sorry.. Shipping from Belgium. Sales pitch: Up for sale is this magnificant duo of rare pedals made by Spencer at 3 Leaf Audio. The Proton is his take on the Mutron III filter and it doesn't get much funkier than this! The Doom is a unique sounding fuzz that is extremely dynamic and can get supersynthy. When combined these pedals offer a wide variety of funky and synthy sounding tones that are used by lany great artist that are looking to get someyhing "extra" out of their pedalboard (think of Stuart Zenders work with Jamiroquai, Tim Lefebre, Janek Gwizdala,...) Due to the very limited production these are very hard to come by and they keep going up in value, so finding a set like these two is quite a rare opportunity. Both pedals come with the original packaging and can be shipped worldwide. Kind regards, Don
